Falchion was a Finnish heavy metal/death metal band formed in 2002. Their debut album, Legacy of Heathens, was released in 2005. The vocalist and lead guitarist Juho Kauppinen and drummer Matti Johansson formerly performed with the Finnish folk metal group Korpiklaani, as the accordion player and drummer, respectively, before Juho's departure in 2013, and Matti's departure in 2019. The band dissolved in 2009.

They are known for frequent usage of wolves in their album art, but the band is named after a kind of bird. Mikko Henrik Julius Paananen, better known as Mige, is a Finnish musician, best known as the bassist and founding member of the gothic rock band HIM. Born to an artistic family, Mige attended the Sibelius Upper Secondary School of music and dance, when he first formed HIM with Ville Valo. The band broke up after Mige began his national military service, but they reformed in 1995. HIM would go on to release eight studio albums and become one of the most commercially successful Finnish bands of all time. The band announced their retirement in March 2017, and played their final show on New Year's Eve 2017.

To/Die/For are a gothic metal band from the town of Kouvola in southeast of Finland, originally assembled in 1993 as a hard rock band under the name Mary-Ann. In 1999, they decided to change their musical style to gothic metal, changing their band name as well. The band disbanded in April 2009, but reformed in July 2009, and played their final concert at John Smith Rock Festival in Finland on 22 June 2016. They reformed once again in early 2020.
