Stabbing Westward is an American industrial rock band. Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus formed the band in 1985 in Macomb, Illinois. The band released an extended play in 1992, followed by four studio albums: Ungod (1994), Wither Blister Burn & Peel (1996), Darkest Days (1998) and Stabbing Westward (2001). The band announced a dissolution on February 9, 2002. Two compilation albums were later released in 2003. Stabbing Westward reunited in 2016 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its formation and has since continued to perform live shows.

Early in his career he was a guitarist for David Allan Coe and The Dickey Betts Band. Haynes also is known for his associations with the surviving members of the Grateful Dead, including touring with Phil Lesh and Friends and the Dead. In addition, Haynes founded and manages Evil Teen Records.
Kaos Rising is a death metal/thrash metal band from Chicago, Illinois. Formed in late 1999, they soon recorded their first demo, entitled "Wiped Away". This demo attracted the attention of California's Jet Speed Records, and in the winter of 2001, they recorded their first full-length album, Welcome To The Violence, which was released in 2002/2003. Following this release, they opened for many major bands such as Fear Factory, Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, and others. After much touring in 2004, they recorded their second album, Cold Years To Come, which was released in October/November 2005 by Break The Surface Music. Whereas Welcome To The Violence came across as a more experimental album, with few songs that could be considered extremely fast, Cold Years To Come has a much faster, old-school thrash feel to it, and certainly contains a higher degree of musical quality. According to their MySpace page, they broke up sometime in early 2006.

Pearl Jam outsold many of their contemporaries from the early 1990s, and are considered one of the most influential bands of the decade, being dubbed as "the most popular American rock & roll band of the '90s".
The Audition was an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was composed of singer Danny Stevens, drummer Ryan O'Connor, guitarists Seth Johnson and Timmy Klepek and bassist Joe Lussa. The band's first release was a six track EP titled All In Your Head. In early 2005, they signed to record label Victory Records and released their debut album, titled Controversy Loves Company. In early January 2008 they released their second studio album Champion. On April 28, 2009 they released their third studio album Self-Titled Album. Their latest full-length album Great Danger was released on March 16, 2010.
Erin Zindle & The Ragbirds are a four-piece, female-led, folk-rock-world fusion band out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. They describe their music as "infectious global groove". The musical roots of the group sound are complex - with Gypsy, Middle-Eastern, Americana, rock, and Latin influences, all stirred with a Celtic fiddler’s bow. In live performances the band incorporates variations on traditional African drum pieces, each member trading their instrument for a hand drum. The songs carry a positive message and include both pop hooks and improvised solos. It is music that fits stages of many sizes and styles - from listening rooms - to jam-band music festivals - to bars and clubs with a hyped-up dance floor.
