Family No. 1 is an Indian comedy television series which aired on Sony Entertainment Television from 1998 to 1999, starring Kanwaljeet Singh and Tanvi Azmi. [1] [2]
The show had two single parents, with three kids each, who end up having to share a newly rented house. Over time, both families go through a series of comic situations and a coming of age of the similarly aged children as they strike friendships and become closer.
A divorcee, Deepak Malhotra and his three kids - Rahul, Rashmi and Guddu live in a beach house which they share with another family the Potia family. The Potia family consists of divorcee Shalini Potia and her three children - Bharti, Toofaan and Dheer.
The story revolves around the two families adjusting and fighting while sharing the same home.
Yaadein (transl. Memories) is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film written, directed, edited and produced by Subhash Ghai. The ensemble cast cross over film starring Jackie Shroff, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor. The film was released worldwide on 27 July 2001 to negative reviews and was a box office disappointment. Jackie Shroff received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor at the 47th Filmfare Awards. Despite its box office failure, the film was profitable due to ancillary revenues of ₹21 crore, including ₹8.2 crore from selling music rights to Tips.
Taarzan : The Wonder Car, or simply called Taarzan, is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language supernatural action thriller film directed by Abbas–Mustan. The film stars Vatsal Sheth, Ayesha Takia, and Ajay Devgn, while Farida Jalal, Pankaj Dheer, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover and Mukesh Tiwari play supporting roles. Upon release, the film was a box office disaster but gained popularity among children and television audiences. It is loosely based on the American film Christine (1983). This also marked the debut of Ayesha Takia, for which she won the Filmfare Best Debut Award.
Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan is an Indian television series that aired on Star Plus from 15 July 2002 to 13 March 2009 in the afternoon slot.
