Gothenburg is the second-largest city in Sweden, fifth-largest in the Nordic countries, and capital of the Västra Götaland County. It is situated by the Kattegat, on the west coast of Sweden, and has a population of approximately 590,000 in the city proper and about 1.1 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area.

Free Society Conference and Nordic Summit (FSCONS) is a Nordic conference trying to bridge the gap between software and cultural freedom held each autumn in Gothenburg, Sweden. It shares many similarities with FOSDEM in the way in which the event is structured, but where the latter attracts speakers and visitors primarily interested in Free software, FSCONS aims to attract a more diverse crowd. The conference was organised 2007-2011 by FFKP, the Society for Free Culture and Software. In 2012, a new member run association was formed to take over the organisation of conference.
Anna Cecilia Petra Östergren is a Swedish feminist writer, debater, social commentator and an instructor in self-defense. She has an MA in Social Anthropology, and is a doctoral student at Lund University. Her research is titled "The State of Feminism".
Vinterviken ("Winter-cove") is a bay in the Mälaren lake in southern Stockholm, Sweden. Vinterviken is located in a valley surrounded by the Gröndal and Aspudden suburb areas. The origin of the name Vinterviken can be traced back to the 17th century. Back then a common winter route used to go from Fittja and the Mälaren islands, and entered the city through Vinterviken and lake Trehörningen.

Tomas Rudin is a Swedish Social Democratic politician in the opposition in the Stockholm district. Between 2002 and 2010, Rudin was the secretary of the Stockholm Arbetarkommun, the municipal unit of Sveriges Socialdemokratiska Arbetareparti. He was a member of the County Council in the Stockholm County Council. He also held the post of vice chairman of the board at Sveriges Radio.
Dik Manusch was a street newspaper published in northern Sweden. First published in early 2015 and focused on the Västerbotten province, the newspaper aimed to help homeless European Union migrants – who are primarily Romani people from the Balkans, especially Romania – to support themselves by providing an alternative to begging on the streets. Distributed for free to the migrants, each newspaper was sold for 50 Swedish krona, the profits going entirely to the seller. A second purpose was to create a debate in Swedish society about the conditions faced by these people.
The Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design or ArkDes, previously known as the Museum of Architecture (Arkitekturmuseet), is a Swedish national museum dedicated to architecture and design. It is located on the island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, Sweden, in the same complex as Moderna Museet. The museum exhibits architecture, urban planning and design under its current director Kieran Long. It is an administrative authority under the Ministry of Culture.

Martin Anders Kinnunen, is a Swedish-Finnish member of parliament for the Sweden Democrats party. He was previously the press secretary for the party, as well as leader for the party's youth organisation the Sweden Democratic Youth (SDU) between 2005 and 2007. He took over that position from Jimmie Åkesson and was succeeded by Erik Almqvist.
Ellevio AB is a Swedish electric power distribution company with headquarters in Stockholm and 968,000 customers (2021) in the regions of Dalarna, Värmland, the West coast, Skaraborg-Närke, Gävleborgs län and Stockholm. The company in its current shape was formed in 2015, when Fortum spun off its Swedish electric power distribution business, but it is also a successor to the municipal electric utility of Stockholm, founded in 1892. The number of direct employees is 551 (2021), whereas the total number of employees, including contractors, is approximately 3,000. Ellevio emits corporate bonds and therefore publishes financial reports in the same manner as listed companies.
Carolina Alexandra Falkholt, with the pseudonym Blue, born 4 March 1977 in Gothenburg, is a Swedish artist, graffiti writer and musician. Sometimes she uses her own coined term grafitta, to describe her art. It is a play with the two words graffiti and fitta, the latter means "pussy" in Swedish but also with a Swedish grammatical habit of setting a gender to work titles where an "a" denotes female role.
On 31 August 2017, policeman Ted Eriksson and his colleague patrolled the area around Medborgarplatsen and Björns trädgård in Stockholm in conjunction with a sit-in protest concerning deportation of Afghan migrants from Sweden. The perpetrator, who had previously taken part in the protest, unprovokedly stabbed Eriksson in the neck from behind, the seriousness of the attack didn't cause any fatal injuries despite the spinal chord was punctured and the vertebra was fractured.
Björkborn Manor is a manor house and the very last residence of Alfred Nobel in Sweden. The manor is located in Karlskoga Municipality, Örebro County, Sweden. The current-standing white-colored manor house was built in the 1810s, but the history of the property is older.
The Embassy of Sweden in Buenos Aires is Sweden's diplomatic mission in Argentina. The ambassador since 2019 is Anders Carlsson. The embassy is located in Puerto Madero and its staff consists of three people from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and six local employees. In addition to Argentina, the embassy's area of activity also includes Paraguay and Uruguay. The embassy's activities include trade promotion, culture and Sweden promotion, migration and consular affairs, as well as reporting on politics, human rights and the economy.
