Fatimah Abbas Waheeb Al-Kaabi (born 23 April 2000) is an Iraqi sports shooter. [1] She competed in the women's 10 metre air pistol event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. [2]

Saqifah denotes in Arabic a covered communal place for conversation but the word is synonomous in historical texts with this particular event.

Fāṭimah bint Ḥuzam al-Kulābīyah al-Alawiyyah, better known as ʾUmm al-Banīn, was a wife of Ali ibn Abi Talib. She was from the tribe of Banu Kilab Kalbasi, Khasaes al-Abbasiah,, P. 63 a branch of Qais Ailan tribes. Umm al-Banin married Ali ibn Abi Talib after the death of his first wife Fatimah, daughter of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad. Umm al-Banin and Ali had four sons, of whom the eldest was Abbas ibn Ali, the commander of Husain ibn Ali's forces at the Battle of Karbala. Sayyida Ruqayya bint Ali was her daughter. All of Umm al-Banin's sons were killed later in the battle at Karbala.

The attack on Fatimah's house refers to a disputed violent attack on the house of Fatimah, daughter of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The attack reportedly took place shortly after Muhammad's death in 11 AH and it was instigated by Muhammad's successor, Abu Bakr, and led by Umar, an aide to Abu Bakr. The purpose of the attack is said to have been the arrest of Fatimah's husband, Ali, who had refused to acknowledge Abu Bakr's authority. It is alleged that Fatimah's injuries during the raid directly caused the young Fatimah's miscarriage and death, within six months of Muhammad's demise.

The men's ISSF 25 meter rapid fire pistol was a shooting sports event held as part of the Shooting at the 1952 Summer Olympics programme. It was the ninth appearance of the event. The competition was held on 27 and 28 July 1952 at the shooting ranges in Helsinki with 53 shooters from 28 nations competing. The maximum number of shooters per nation was reduced to 2, from 3 in previous Games. The event was won by Károly Takács of Hungary, the first man to successfully defend an Olympic rapid fire title. Hungary also took the second place, with Szilárd Kun earning silver. Gheorghe Lichiardopol of Romania won bronze in his nation's debut in the event.
