Thunderpuss was the remix/production team of Los Angeles-based music producers Barry Harris and Chris Cox. Harris had previously worked as part of several music groups including Kon Kan, Top Kat, Killer Bunnies and Outta Control and had also released several solo singles himself. Cox, a musician and DJ, had also worked for years as a DJ and producer, producing a megamix of Paula Abdul songs, among other things, and started his own record label, Interhit Records, with Jeff Johnson.

Marc Kinchen, known by his stage name MK, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. He hit number-one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 and 1994 with the songs "Always" and "Love Changes." Lead vocals on both of those tracks were performed by Alana Simon. The combo also recorded the underground house music classic anthem "Burning." "Always" peaked at number 69 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1995. MK also hit the dance chart with "4 You," using the pseudonym 4th Measure Men.

It has been described by both Nic Fanciulli and Paul Woolford as one of the biggest tunes in Miami and reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart, also charting in the Netherlands and Finland. It topped the UK Dance Chart for one week on 5 November 2006. In the United States, the single peaked at #15 on Billboard's Dance Airplay chart in its 10 March 2007 issue.

"My Mind Right", released in 2000, is the first single from Memphis Bleek's second studio album, The Understanding and DJ Clue? Presents: Backstage Mixtape. Initially, the song was not a major hit and did not receive much airplay. It was struggling to gain recognition upon its release until, Memphis Bleek recruited Jay-Z, Get Low Records' artist, H. Money Bags, and Beanie Sigel for the heavily played remix. This version of the song would go on to be a huge hit during the summer of 2000 and would be the #1 song for a while on the rap charts. The single would be Bleek's biggest hit until the next two songs were released from the album. The remix to "My Mind Right" was such a big hit that it was included on his album, while the original version was not.

"My Feelings for You" is a 2010 track by DJs Avicii and Sebastien Drums, which is a remix of an original made by Cassius, a French house band, which released on Astralwerks in 1999. The single was released in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2010 as a digital EP with additional remixes, as well as an additional remix EP. The vocals are sampled from "All This Love That I'm Giving" by Gwen McCrae. The vocal samples taken are reminiscent of those used by Cassius in "Feeling For You". After the single's official release in the United Kingdom, it started to receive a strong number of downloads and on 19 December 2010, charted at no. 46 on the UK Singles Chart and no. 4 on the UK Dance Chart, which were also the songs peak positions on those charts.

The album was released on March 28, 2018, one month after her studio album AND. It became her lowest-ranking remix album, debuting at No. 27 on the Oricon Albums Charts. It fell in ranking throughout the week, landing it at No. 40 for the weekly ranking.
