The Bangladesh Awami League,simply known as Awami League,is one of the major political parties in Bangladesh. The oldest existing political party in the country,the party played the leading role in achieving the independence of Bangladesh. It is also one of the two most dominant parties in the country,along with its archrival Bangladesh Nationalist Party.

He praised the assassins as "sons of the sun" and put cabinet ministers loyal to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in jail. He was himself deposed by another coup,less than three months later on November 3,1975.
The Krishak Sramik Janata League is a political party in Bangladesh formed by Bangabir Kader Siddiqui,a renowned war hero who led the Kaderia Bahini during the Bangladesh's Liberation War of 1971,after he left Awami League in 1999. Although,the party adopted the Mujibist ideology,which is the ideology of Awami League,the party of Sheikh Mujib. The district of Tangail,which was headquarters of the Kaderia Bahini,is known as the "stronghold" of the party.

Abdul Matin Khasru was a Bangladeshi lawyer and politician. He was a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Comilla-5 constituency during 1991–1995,1996–2001 and 2009–2021. He served in the first Hasina cabinet as Minister of Law and Justice from 1997 until 2001.

The National Coordination Committee for Workers' Education (NCCWE) is a national trade union centre in Bangladesh. The centre unites 14 national trade union federations. It is affiliated with the International Trade Union Confederation,the World Federation of Trade Unions and the International Transport Workers Federation. It is also supported by the International Labour Organization.
Kabir Bin Anwar is a retired Bangladeshi civil servant. He was the 23rd Cabinet Secretary of Bangladesh Government,serving for a short period of time from 15 December 2022 until he went to post-retirement leave on 3 January 2023. Prior to that,he was Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources. Kabir is the chairperson of the Board of Directors of Centre for Environmental and Geographic Information Services. He was the 28th President of Bangladesh Administrative Service Association. He is the chairperson of non-profit Issabela foundation,named after his mother.
