Fedraheimen was a Norwegian weekly magazine, issued from 1877 to 1891. [1]
Arne Garborg founded Fedraheimen in 1877 [2] and edited it until 1882. Ivar Mortensson-Egnund was editor until 1889, and Rasmus Steinsvik until it ceased publication in 1891. The magazine was a proponent for the Nynorsk language. Among the contributors to the magazine were Ivar Aasen, Anders Hovden, Kristofer Janson, Nils Kjær, Hans Seland and Vetle Vislie. [3]

Det Norske Teatret is a theatre in Oslo. The theatre was founded in 1912, after an initiative from Hulda Garborg and Edvard Drabløs. It opened in 1913, touring with two plays, Ervingen by Ivar Aasen and Rationelt Fjøsstell by Hulda Garborg. Its first official performance was Ludvig Holberg's comedy Jeppe på berget, with Haakon VII of Norway and the prime minister of Norway among the spectators. Hulda Garborg was the first board manager, and Rasmus Rasmussen was the first theatre director. The theatre primarily performs plays written in or translated into Nynorsk.

Åsen is a former municipality in the old Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 140-square-kilometre (54 sq mi) municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1962. The municipality was located to the southwest part of what is now Levanger municipality in Trøndelag county, roughly bordered in the north by the lakes Hammervatnet and Hoklingen, and by the Åsenfjorden to the west.
