Fernando Lozada (born August 10, 1989) is a Mexican television personality of Colombian origin, known for being a cast member in the MTV reality series Acapulco Shore . [1]

Biography

Lozada is a descendant of a Colombian father Juan Carlos Lozada and his Mexican mother Benicia Zuñiga. At the time of birth she suffered from Itericia, bilirubin in the blood. In his early years she lived in countries like Colombia, United States and Panama. After his parents divorced in 1990, she settled primarily in Mexico City.[ citation needed ]

Career

In 2014 he joined the first season of Acapulco Shore , being a prominent member during the first six editions of the program. In 2016 he joined Super Shore , another spin-off of MTV's Shore franchise.

Lozada hosted the dating show SwipeDate with Yoseline Hoffman in 2017. [2] [3] After voluntarily leaving both MTV shows, Lozada competed in the fourth season of Exatlón Estados Unidos , [4] being eliminated a week before the final.

Since 2021 he has been the host of Acapulco Shock. [5]

Lozada came in second place on the Telemundo show, Los 50 . [6] [7] In January 2024, his participation in the fourth season of La casa de los famosos was confirmed. [8]

Personal life

He met Triana Lion in 2012 in Cuernavaca, and after dating intermittently, they began a relationship in 2016, after which he abandoned the filming of Super Shore. During a trip to Walt Disney World in 2017, [9] Lozada proposed to León and they married in December 2020 in a private ceremony. [10]

The couple's first child was born on July 2, 2020. [11]

The sixth series of Acapulco Shore, a Mexico television programme based in Acapulco, Mexico was filmed in January and February 2019 and began airing on April 30, 2019. The series was filmed in the Mexican capital Mexico City instead of Acapulco, making this the first series to be filmed here after the special season Acapulco Shore: Nueva Generación in 2017. Ahead of the series, it was announced that former original cast members Luis Méndez and Talía Loaiza would be returning to the show. The tenth season of Acapulco Shore, a Mexican television programme based in Acapulco was announced on August, 2022 and premiered on September 27, 2022. Filming started in June 2022 in the coastal city of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, making this the second time the show is filmed in this city. Days after filming began rolling, a possible case of COVID-19 among cast members caused filming to be put on hold for a few days, before resuming. This season was announced in February 2022, via a Viacom press release. On August 28, 2022, the cast members were announced. This season marks the return of original cast member, Luis “Jawy” Méndez since his last appearance in Season 7. New cast members this season include Andrés Cervantes, Abel Robles, Elizabeth Varela, who previously participated in AYTO? and Resistiré, Ricardo “Ricky” Ochoa and Sebastián Gálvez, Alejandra Varela and Roberto Mora debuted later. The trailer of the season was released on September 12, 2022. The first season of La Venganza de los Ex VIP will begin airing on 9 November 2021. It is the second series of the show overall after the civilian version.
