The Feyenoord Jubilee Tournament was a friendly tournament between August 1, 2008 to August 3, 2008 to celebrate the centenary of the Dutch football club Feyenoord. The tournament includes four teams, they are: Feyenoord, Celtic, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund. [1] All of Feyenoord's three opponents are famous opponents that they played before in European finals.

Feyenoord Rotterdam is a Dutch professional football club in Rotterdam, which plays in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football. Founded as Wilhelmina in 1908, the club changed to various names before settling on being called after its neighborhood in 1912 as SC Feijenoord, updated in 1974 to SC Feyenoord, and then to Feyenoord Rotterdam in 1978, when it split from the amateur club under its wing, SC Feyenoord. Since 1937, Feyenoord's home ground has been the Stadion Feijenoord, nicknamed De Kuip, one of the largest stadiums in the Netherlands.

The 1969–70 European Cup football club tournament was won by Feyenoord in an extra time final victory against Celtic. It was the first time the cup was won by a Dutch club, as well as the first of four-straight years the tournament would be won by Dutch clubs. During this tournament, tiebreaker playoffs were abandoned in favour of away goals; if both teams had scored the same number of away goals, one side was eliminated by the toss of a coin, something that was required in two of the matches.
The 1962–63 season of the European Cup Winners' Cup football club tournament was won by Tottenham Hotspur in a crushing final victory over holders Atlético Madrid. It was the first time a European cup went to an English club. The so-called "winner's curse" continued as Spurs failed to retain the cup in 1964.

The 2002 UEFA Cup Final was an association football match played on 8 May 2002, between Feyenoord of the Netherlands and Borussia Dortmund of Germany. Feyenoord won the match 3–2 on their home ground, the Feijenoord Stadion in Rotterdam. It was the 31st UEFA Cup Final and it was also the first time that the final had been played at a finalist's home ground since the introduction of single–match finals in the UEFA Cup in 1998. Previous to this match, Feyenoord had not won a European trophy since 1974, when they beat Tottenham Hotspur to win the UEFA Cup. Borussia Dortmund, who had already won the Bundesliga title, were hoping to join Ajax, Bayern Munich and Juventus in being the only clubs to win all three European trophies. Feyenoord's victory marked the first European triumph for a Dutch club in seven years, after Ajax won the UEFA Champions League in 1995.
The 2007–08 KNVB Cup was the 90th edition of the premier knockout tournament in the Netherlands. The competition started on 25 August 2007 and the final was held on 27 April 2008 at the Feijenoord Stadion in Rotterdam. Feyenoord defeated Roda JC 2–0 in the final, taking home the cup for the eleventh time.
The 1963 European Cup Winners' Cup Final was the final football match of the 1962–63 European Cup Winners' Cup and was the third European Cup Winners' Cup final. It was contested between Tottenham Hotspur of England and the defending champions, Atlético Madrid of Spain, and was held at Feijenoord Stadion in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Tottenham won the match 5–1 thanks to goals by Jimmy Greaves (2), John White and Terry Dyson (2). Tottenham's victory made them the first British team to win a major European trophy.
The 1974 UEFA Cup Final was played on 21 May 1974 and 29 May 1974 between Tottenham Hotspur of England and Feyenoord Rotterdam of the Netherlands, to determine the champion of the 1973–74 UEFA Cup. Feyenoord won 4–2 on aggregate. Tottenham supporters rioted during the second leg in Rotterdam, which started after Feyenoord scored towards the end of the first half and continued into the second half.
The 2001–02 UEFA Cup was won by Feyenoord at their home ground in the final against Borussia Dortmund. It was the second time they won the competition.
The 2008–09 KNVB Cup was the 91st season of the Dutch national football knockout tournament. The defending champions were Feyenoord. The competition started on 30 August 2008 and ended with sc Heerenveen winning the Final in Rotterdam on 17 May 2009.

The 2011–12 NextGen Series was the inaugural season of the NextGen Series, an association football tournament which involved the under-19 teams from 16 different clubs from across Europe.
The group stage of the 2004–05 UEFA Cup is the second stage of the competition proper. Group stage matches began on 21 October 2004 and concluded on 16 December 2004. The top three teams in each group progressed to the Round of 32, to be joined by the eight third-place finishers from the Champions League group stage.
The 2012–13 NextGen Series was the second season of the NextGen Series. The tournament involved the under-19 teams from 24 different countries across Europe. The tournament was won by Aston Villa who overcame Chelsea in the final.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group G is one of the ten UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams will qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals tournament in Qatar. Group G consists of six teams: Gibraltar, Latvia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway and Turkey. The teams play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format.
