Parinya Charoenphol, nicknamed Toom, also known by the stage name Parinya Kiatbusaba and the colloquial name Nong Toom or Nong Tum, is a Thai boxer, former muay Thai champion, model and actress. She is a kathoey, a Thai word referring to what is often considered a distinct gender in Thailand and elsewhere generally considered to be gender-nonconforming men or transgender women. At the age of 18, she underwent sex reassignment surgery.
Somrak Kamsing or Somluck Kamsing, known professionally as Pimaranlek Sitaran, is a Thai retired Muay Thai fighter, amateur boxer, entertainer, and politician. He is a five-time Olympian in amateur boxing who won a gold medal in 1996. During the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand, Kamsing lit the torch during the Games' opening ceremony. His is also the younger brother of Somrot Kamsing, another retired Muay Thai fighter and Olympian in amateur boxing.

A worship ceremony was then held on 28 April 2011 at Tseung Kwan O TVB City Studio 12 at 2:00PM where filming began. Filming ended in July. The first episode was aired on April 16, 2012 on the TVB Jade channel, simultaneously with TVB's overseas partners and affiliates.

His students include Saen Parunchai and Chalam Parunchai, both of whom have beaten elite fighters.
