Filip Bystedt (born 4 February 2004) is a Swedish professional ice hockey centre for the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League (AHL), while under contract to the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). [1] Bystedt was drafted 27th overall by the Sharks in the 2022 NHL entry draft. [2]

Playing career

Bystedt was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the San Jose Sharks on 12 June 2023. [3] In April 2024, he was assigned to the San Jose Barracuda after his season with Linköping HC of the Swedish Hockey League concluded. [4]

Bystedt represented Sweden at the 2022 IIHF World U18 Championships where he recorded two goals and one assist in six games and won a gold medal.
