Filip Sakala (born 21 May 1996) is a Czech Ski jumper. He competed in the 2022 Winter Olympics, World Championship in Seefeld 2019, World Championship in Oberstdorf 2021 and Ski Flying World Championship in Planica 2020. His best result is 29th place at the World Championships in Seefeld on normal hill. Filip Sakala also won a gold medal at the Czech championship in Liberec on large hill. In total he won four medals at the Czech National Championships. Two silver, one bronze and one gold. Sakala currently works as the Sport Director of Czech Ski Jumping. He is the son of 1992 Winter Olympic Team Large Hill bronze medalist ski jumper Jaroslav Sakala. [1] [2]
Simon Ammann is a Swiss ski jumper. He is one of the most successful athletes in the history of the sport, having won four individual Winter Olympic gold medals in 2002 and 2010. His other achievements include winning the 2007 Ski Jumping World Championships, the 2010 Ski Flying World Championships, the 2010 Nordic Tournament, and the 2010 Ski Jumping World Cup overall title.

Jakub Janda is a Czech politician and former ski jumper. In ski jumping he competed from 1996 to 2017, winning the gold medal in the 2005–06 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup as the 2006 World Champion. He also won the 2005/06 Four Hills Tournament, as well as silver and bronze medals at the 2005 World Championships. Janda is one of the most successful ski jumpers from the Czech Republic, and is the only Czech World Cup champion to date.
Martin Schmitt is a German former ski jumper who competed from 1997 to 2014. He is one of Germany's most successful ski jumpers, having won the World Cup twice; a gold medal at the Winter Olympics; four gold medals at the World Championships; and a ski flying world record. His and his countryman Sven Hannawald's success further popularized ski jumping in Germany, and with particular help from cable TV station RTL, their coverage received great acclaim in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
