The Philippine Institute of Sports Multi-Purpose Arena or PhilSports Arena is an indoor sporting arena located inside the PhilSports Complex in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was formerly known as the University of Life Theater and Recreational Arena or the ULTRA. The arena is part of the PhilSports Complex which is maintained by the Philippine Sports Commission.
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the top-level professional women's volleyball league in the Philippines organized by the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The PVL was established in 2004 as the inter-collegiate Shakey's V-League (SVL) until it rebranded to the current entity in 2017. Prior to becoming a full-fledged professional league in 2021, the PVL was open to participation of corporate owned semi-professional clubs and non-collegiate teams backed by local governments.

The Homegrown Invitational Cup is a collegiate basketball tournament in the Philippines. It aims to determine which is the best "homegrown" collegiate team. Homegrown players are those who came directly from the juniors team of the said school. As a rule, each team must have at least 3 players from its roster who came from their junior ranks. The league gained TV coverage in 2006 through Studio 23. Fil-Oil and Flying V are the main sponsors of the tournament, hence this tournament is the first edition of what would eventually become the Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup.
The San Juan Knights, also known as the San Juan Knights – Go For Gold for sponsorship reasons, are a Filipino professional basketball team based in San Juan. The team competes in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) as a member of the league's North Division. They are one of three teams based in Metro Manila's Eastern District and play their home games at Filoil EcoOil Centre.
The Ynares Sports Arena is an indoor arena located in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. Pilipinas Commercial Basketball League was a commercial amateur basketball tournament based in the Philippines that catered to the development and grassroots program for future Filipino basketball players, inspired from the MICAA and the Philippine Basketball League (PBL). The league was established by nine commercial teams, some of which have played in the PBA D-League. The chairman of the league was Buddy Encarnado, who was also the board governor representing the Sta. Lucia Realtors during its stint in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
San Miguel Alab Pilipinas was a Filipino professional basketball team which played in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) under the sponsorship of San Miguel Corporation. The team was owned and managed by the sports talent management firm, Virtual Playground, headed by talent agents Dondon Monteverde and Charlie Dy.
