Steffan Fin Argus (born September 1, 1998) is an American actor, musician, and model.

Early life and education

Argus is from Des Plaines, Illinois. They have an older sister, Sadie, and a younger sister, Lacey. They were a self-described "theatre kid" growing up and learned to play several instruments. "I picked up the Spanish guitar in third grade... Then the piano. Then the French horn. Then the cello. Then the ukulele, mandolin, and banjo. Then the bass guitar." [1] They attended Maine West High School and then studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston. [2] [3]

Career

Argus began acting in local theatre productions at a young age and was a member of Kidz Bop. [4] They are signed with Ford Models and modeled the Yves Saint Laurent 2016 Spring / Summer Line for Barneys New York. [2] They released an EP in 2017 titled Lost at Sea.

They starred in the web series The Commute. [1] Argus was cast in the lead role as Zach Sobiech in the Disney+ musical drama Clouds . [5] They appeared on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a younger version of Gordon, previously played by Jamie Harris. [6]

Personal life

Argus is gay, and uses they/them pronouns. [7] Argus is genderqueer. [8] [9]

<i>Clouds</i> (2020 film) 2020 film by Justin Baldoni

Clouds is a 2020 American biographical romantic musical drama teen film directed and produced by Justin Baldoni and written by Kara Holden from a story by Holden, Patrick Kopka, and Casey La Scala. It is based upon the memoir Fly a Little Higher: How God Answered a Mom's Small Prayer in a Big Way by Laura Sobiech. The film stars Fin Argus, Sabrina Carpenter, Madison Iseman, Neve Campbell, Tom Everett Scott, and Lil Rel Howery, and tells the story of Zach Sobiech, a teenager from Minnesota who has osteosarcoma, and decides to follow his dream of becoming a musician after finding out he is dying.

<i>Clouds</i> (soundtrack)

Clouds is the soundtrack album to the 2020 film Clouds. Based on the life of late American singer/songwriter Zach Sobiech from the memoir Fly a Little Higher: How God Answered a Mom's Small Prayer in a Big Way by Laura Sobiech, it is directed by Justin Baldoni and featured musical score composed by Brian Tyler. The soundtrack featured incorporated songs by the lead actors Fin Argus and Sabrina Carpenter, Sobiech's dissolved band A Firm Handshake, Renforshort and OneRepublic. It was released by the record labels Interscope and Walt Disney on October 16, 2020. Prior to the soundtrack release, OneRepublic's original song "Wild Life" was released as the lead single on September 25. The titular track "Clouds", which was Sobiech's own song, altered and composed by Tyler and performed by the lead cast, was released as the second single on October 9, and the third song "afterthoughts" performed by Renforshort was released as a single on October 15, accompanied by a music video.
