Released to favorable reviews, it debuted at number eight on the US Billboard 200 and number three on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, with first-week sales of 111,000 copies, eventually reaching platinum for selling a million domestic copies.

"Ain't Leavin Without You" is a song by Jaheim. It was released to radio on October 23, 2009 and is the first single from his fifth studio album, Another Round. It was produced by his longtime producer Kay Gee. Songwriting duties were handled by Marcella "Precise" Brailsford, The Clutch's Balewa Muhammad and Eritza Laues. The song was inspired by an encounter with a girl that Jaheim had in a club. It samples De La Soul's hit single, "Ring Ring Ring " which contains portions of The Whatnauts's "Help Is On the Way". It also samples "Act Like You Know" and "Sex With You".
"I Am" is a song by American R&B singer Mary J. Blige. It was written by Blige, Johntá Austin, Ester Dean, Magnus Beite, Tor Erik Hermansen, Mikkel Eriksen for her ninth studio album, Stronger with Each Tear (2009), while production was helmed by Hermansen and Eriksen under their production moniker Stargate. Lyrically, the song "I Am" confidently tells one's lover nobody can treat them better than the person they are with at the present time.
"It Kills Me" is a R&B single by Melanie Fiona as the second U.S. single from The Bridge. The track spent nine weeks as number-one on the US Billboard R&B singles chart. The track w also peaked just outside the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at 43. Fiona received a Grammy nomination in the category of Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for the track, however, the Grammy was awarded to Beyoncé for "Single Ladies ". The song samples "(Hey There) Lonely Girl" by The Softones.
