Finghin Collins is an Irish pianist. [1] He won first prize at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in Vevey, Switzerland, in 1999. Collins was artist-in-residence at Waterford Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2009, and has also acted as artistic director for the New Ross Piano Festival. [2]
Collins studied with John O'Conor at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin and with Dominique Merlet at the Conservatoire de Musique in Geneva, Switzerland. [3] He was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Dublin City University in 1999 and a premier prix avec distinction from the Conservatoire in Geneva in 2002. He won the RTÉ Musician of the Future Competition in Dublin in 1994, as well as semi-final prizes at the Leeds International Piano Competition in 1996, the Guardian Dublin International Piano Competition in 1997, and the Classical Category at the National Entertainment Awards in Ireland in 1998. [2] In 1999, Collins won the top prize at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition. [4]
According to his website, Collins has performed with such orchestras as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony Orchestra, and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; with such conductors as Christoph Eschenbach and Hans Graf; with ensembles such as London Winds and the Aviv, Callino, Chilingirian, and other string quartets. The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) in Dublin, Ireland, is one of Europe's oldest music conservatoires, specialising in classical music and the Irish harp. It is located in a Georgian building on Westland Row in Dublin. An institution which offers tuition from age 4 up to doctorate level, the RIAM has taught music performers and composers who have gone on to acclaim on the world stage. It is an associate college of the University of Dublin, Trinity College.

Daejin Kim is a South Korean pianist, an alumnus of the Juilliard School. He won the first prize in the 6th Robert Casadesus International Piano Competition - which is called Cleveland Competition today, in 1985. Kim is a professor of piano, the Dean of the School of Music at the Korea National University of Arts, and the music director of the Changwon Philharmonic Orchestra.

Wang Li is a pianist. He began his piano studies under his father, Wang Yanqiao, a composer In China, and was accepted to study at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing at the age of 6. His studies later continued in Japan under Hiroko Edo, and in France at the Conservatoire national superiere de musique in Paris, under Brigitte Engerer. He went on to study in Canada at The Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music, where he was a student of James Anagnoson. He currently resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
