Barbara Jane Blalock is an American business executive and retired professional golfer. After winning several New England golf tournaments in her youth, Blalock joined the LPGA Tour as a professional in 1969, being named LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 1969 and Most Improved Golfer in 1970 and 1971. She won the historically notable Dinah Shore Colgate Winner's Circle in 1972, earning "the richest prize in women's golf history." After successfully fighting a suspension from the LPGA for allegedly signing an incorrect scorecard a month after Dinah Shore, by 1977 she was the sixth-highest paid female golfer of all time. The Evening Independent described her as "one of the foremost women golfers of her time" the following year. Lakeside Memorial Golf Course is a golf course located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Lakeside was opened in 1945 by architect and Oklahoma State University golf coach Labron Harris. It served as the home course for the 10-time national champion Oklahoma State University Men's Golf Team for almost 50 years until the opening of Karsten Creek Golf Club in 1994. Lakeside is currently owned and operated by the City of Stillwater.

Shirley G. Spork was an American professional golfer and one of the founders of the LPGA Tour. Spork finished second at the 1962 LPGA Championship. She worked as a teaching professional for many years and was recognized as LPGA Teacher of the Year in 1959 and 1984. Spork also taught golf with the National Golf Foundation and was an educator at Bowling Green State University. As a player, she started in her early teens and continued to play golf into her nineties.
Oneda Maryon Castillo is a Global Education Instructor for the Ladies Professional Golfers Association (LPGA). She joined the LPGA in 1997. She is the third African American woman to achieve Class A status as a LPGA Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP), doing so in 2003. As of 2022 she is one of only 15 African American women golfers to become a Class A LPGA Teaching Professional.
