Background

Flawed by Design started in late 2011/early 2012 in Hickory, North Carolina, with founding members drummer Shane Atkinson and guitarist Tony Greer, who were former band mates. [3] The band added on vocalist Dillon Reynolds and bassist Davie Huffman in 2012. [3] In 2014, the band entered the studio to record their debut album, A New Creation with producer Jamie King (For Today, Between the Buried and Me, Your Chance to Die). The album was released through Rottweiler Records in January 2015. [4] On August 4, 2015, vocalist Dillon Reynolds and bassist Davie Huffman departed from the band due to creative and personal differences. [5] The band is currently working on a full-length CD with new bassist Bobby Hoyle and vocalist Nick Ellis. [6]

Frost Like Ashes is an American Christian black metal band that formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 2001. The band has released three EPs and a full-length album, Tophet, and their songs have appeared on three compilation albums. Previously signed to Psycho Acoustix Records and currently to Sullen Records, an imprint of Open Grave Records, their music combines elements of black metal, death metal and thrash metal with keyboards and virtuosic vocals notable for "switching between about 10 different extreme styles within a given song." Flaw is an American nu metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed by guitarist Jason Daunt in 1996. After a string of rough independent recordings in the 1990s, the band signed to Republic and Universal Music Group and released two major label albums, Through the Eyes in 2001 and Endangered Species in 2004. Breakups, line-up changes, and internal strife plagued the band for the rest of the decade, though from 2015 to 2017, the band reformed with three of their core members to tour and write music. The band released their third studio album, Divided We Fall, in 2016, and a fourth studio album, Vol IV: Because of the Brave in 2019. An album of cover songs, Revival, was later released in 2022. The band's lineup frequently shifts; lead vocalist Chris Volz is the only constant member.

Christ's Sake is an American Christian hardcore and Christian rock band, and they primarily play hardcore punk, punk rock, and alternative rock. They come from Huntington Beach, California. The band started making music in 2011, and their members are lead vocalist, Dillon Hendren, vocalist and lead guitarist, Lance Hendren, background vocalist, Sandra Calvillo, bassist, Matt Vangalapudi, and drummer, Vinny. Their first studio album, Christ's Sake, was released in 2012 by Thumper Punk Records. The subsequent studio album, We All Fall Down, was released by Thumper Punk Records, in 2014.

Hippos of Doom is an American Christian hardcore band, and they primarily play hardcore punk and punk rock. They come from Huntington Beach, California. The band started making music in 2013, and their members are lead vocalist and bassist, Old Hippo, lead guitarist and background vocalist, The Masked Hippo, left handed guitarist and background vocalist, Captain Hippo, and left handed drummer, Indiana Jak. Their first extended play, Road Trip, was released in 2013 by Thumper Punk Records.

Behold the Kingdom was an American Christian metal and Christian hardcore band, and they primarily played deathcore, metalcore, and hardcore punk. They come from Sidney, Ohio. The band started making music in 2009, and their membership was lead vocalist, Josh Moon, lead guitarists, Riley Snyder and Derrik Young, bassist, Mark Baker, and drummer, Cliff Deweese. Their first studio album, The Eyes of the Wicked Will Fail, was released by Rottweiler Records, in 2011, which was the only album from the band, who disbanded in 2013.

The Sacrificed is an American Christian metal band who primarily play a power metal and progressive metal music. They come from Lakeland, Florida, where they started making music in 2005, with frontman Eli Prinsen. They released two studio albums, 2012 in 2010 and III in 2012, both with Roxx Productions.

The band's debut EP was mixed by Rocky Gray of Living Sacrifice, Evanescence, and Machina. The band was recommended in an interview with Gray and Jon Dunn of Soul Embraced about the local Arkansas metal scene. Their debut album was released on March 12, 2013. It was produced by Josh Barber.

Broken Flesh is a Christian death metal band, formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 2004. The band has released three studio albums, Forever In Flames in 2009, Warbound in 2013, and Broken Flesh in 2015. They have released one extended play, Stripped, Stabbed, and Crucified, in 2012.

Rottweiler Records is a Christian metal record label based out of Dallas, Texas, United States. The label features bands such as Lust Control, Soul Embraced, The Jericho Harlot, and Pantokrator. The label started early on as a label that served punk rock, but has become a label that serves metal and punk. It is a Christian label, and therefore many of its artists are as well. The label was created by Shawn Browning, also known as Wretched of Grave Robber. Many bands on the label have placed high on CMW's charts and have had many positive reviews. The label participates in several compilations, including Kill the Ill a benefit comp for Rottweiler's owner Shawn Browning, and Metal Pulse: A Tribute to Dale Huffman.

They have been compared to Devourment, Dying Fetus, Impending Doom and Crimson Thorn.

Skald in Veum are a Swedish unblack metal band. They have released one extended play, 1260 Days (2015), with Rottweiler Records and SkyBurnBlack Records and a studio album, Stridslysten, via Rottweiler in 2019.

Doomsday Hymn is a Brazilian Christian metal band, whose music incorporates metalcore, death metal, groove metal and thrash metal. They started making music together in 2013. They have released one studio album, Mene Tequel Ufarsim (2015), with Rottweiler Records.

Forfeit Thee Untrue, also known as FTU, is a South African Christian metal band who formed in 2006. Remaining a 2-piece band until late 2011, at which point, lead vocalist/guitarist Gideon joined the band. Following their first studio-recorded track, 'Seven', they were offered a record deal by Sanctus Gladius Records, through which they released their debut EP, Blood Soaked Splinter (2013). After their recording contract lapsed with Sanctus Gladius Records they then signed with Rottweiler Records - their second international record label. Hand of Fire is an American thrash metal band that originated in California. The band started in 2015 as a vision of frontman, Jim Settle, formerly of Tantrum of the Muse.
