Flight Distance was an underground hip hop group from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] The group consisted of MC Patience, DJ Calkuta, and MC/producer Bender, who was a former King of the Dot champion. [8] Flight Distance released three albums over the course of their career: Run for Your Lives! in 2005, Bad Information in 2011, and High Priests of Low-Life in 2014. [1] [9] [10] As of December 2014, they had begun work on their fourth album, entitled Harmony Chlorine, [11] and were still working on it at the time of Bender's unexpected death on March 1, 2018. Germaine Williams, better known by his stage name Canibus, is a Jamaican-American rapper. He gained fame in the 1990s for his ability to freestyle, and released his debut album Can-I-Bus in 1998. Canibus has released 13 solo studio albums, as well as multiple collaboration albums and EPs with other rappers as a member of the Four Horsemen, Refugee Camp All-Stars, Sharpshooterz, Cloak N Dagga, the Undergods and one-half of T.H.E.M.
Walter Reed, better known by his stage name Killah Priest, is an American rapper, member of Sunz of Man and Wu-Tang Clan affiliate who was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is known for his intensely spiritual lyrics, containing religious references and metaphors. He is connected to the Black Hebrew Israelites through his rhymes, and is known for his controversial and political subject matter. He is also a part of supergroup the HRSMN along with Canibus, Ras Kass, and Kurupt.
Swollen Members is a four-time JUNO Award-winning Canadian hip hop group from Vancouver, British Columbia, consisting mainly of Madchild and Prevail. Frequent collaborators include vocalist Moka Only along with the other former members Easy Roc & Zodak who were only in the group for a few years and producer Rob the Viking, an official group member since 2002. Swollen Members has released nine studio albums, one greatest hits album and 2 compilations, as well as numerous other singles. From 1996 to 2016, Swollen Members were the second best-selling Canadian hip hop artist in Canada and were the best-selling Canadian hip hop group in Canada.
The Hrsmn is an American hip hop supergroup consisting of the artists Canibus, Ras Kass, Killah Priest, and Kurupt. They have released two albums. The name of the group is in reference to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who appear in the Book of Revelation from the Bible. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are traditionally named Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death. Throughout the HRSMN songs, there are many references to each of the members representing a specific entity. They are Pestilence, War (Canibus), Famine (Kurupt), and Death. They have each frequently appeared on each of the members solo albums, such as Canibus's 2000 B.C. and Killah Priest's Priesthood. Other affiliated members include Chino XL, and Pharoahe Monch.

Adam Briggs, who performs as Briggs and self-describes as Senator Briggs, is an Aboriginal Australian rapper, record label owner, comedy writer, actor, and author. Briggs became well known as a "solo rapper", signing with Golden Era Records in 2009, before co-founding the hip hop duo A.B. Original in 2016.

Zoo Legacy is a hip-hop/indie-rock band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Formed in 2010, the band consists of brothers Samuel and Dominic Goss (guitars). After successfully recording a demo of material, the brothers enlisted the talents of friend and local rapper Nicholas Pouponneau in the summer of 2010, who began rapping verses over the instrumental tracks they had previously written. They obtained their name by combining the previous stage name of Pouponneau and a neighborhood park the Goss brothers spent time in visiting family in South Africa. Throughout the years, they have shared the stage with acts such as Lauryn Hill, Kardinal Offishall, Classified, Shad, Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker, Son Real and Bad Bad Not Good. Their sound has been likened to artists such as The Weekend, The XX and Atmosphere.
