Florence Valentin was a Swedish pop-rock band from Stockholm. The band existed between 2002 and 2010. Both the lyrics and music to the band's tracks was made by the band's lead singer Love Antell. [1] The band was founded in 2002 and got its breakthrough the year afterwards with the song "Allt dom bygger upp ska vi meja ner". [2] For the general public Florence Valentin became known when the band performed the song at the late night talkshow Sen kväll med Luuk on TV4. [3] Their first album "Johnny Drama" was released in 2004 by MNW's label Mistlur Records and distributed by Bonnier Amigo. [4] The band second album Pokerkväll i Vårby Gård was released in June 2007 by the record label Bonnier Amigo again. [5] Florence Valentin performed at Allsång på Skansen which was broadcast on SVT with the song with the same name as their second album "Pokerkväll i Vårby Gård". [6] On 25 March 2009 the band's third album Spring Ricco was released by the record label Startracks. [7] They disbanded in 2010. but reunited anouncing a national tour and released the single "Sanningen om mej".
The group's name comes from the scandal singer Johnny Bode. [8] Florence Valentin was one of many pseudonyms Bode used during his career in the 1930s. [9]

Gun-Marie Fredriksson was a Swedish singer, songwriter, pianist and painter, who was best known internationally as the lead vocalist of pop rock duo Roxette, which she formed in 1986 with Per Gessle. The duo achieved international success in the late-1980s and early-1990s with their albums Look Sharp! (1988) and Joyride (1991), and had multiple hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including four number ones.

Nicknamed "Terre", Sjögran made her first Damallsvenskan appearances for Kristianstad/Wä DFF. She joined Malmö FF Dam in 2001 and remained with the club through its different guises as LdB FC and FC Rosengård. Sjögran spent the 2011 season with American Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) club Sky Blue FC.

Monica Kristina Ingeborg Törnell, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. After being discovered by Cornelis Vreeswijk 1971, she was a prominent singer in several genres, mainly folk and rock music, for over two decades. Together with Lasse Holm, she represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 in Bergen, Norway. She is the mother of Tobias and Mattias Törnell.
First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo consisting of the sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993, respectively. When performing live, they are accompanied by a drummer, a pedal steel guitarist, and a keyboard player. In 2008, they gained some Internet popularity for their cover of the Fleet Foxes' song "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song". Rolling Stone magazine chose their song "Emmylou" as the number 10 "Single of the Year" in 2012. They have released four albums, four EPs and several singles. In 2015, they were nominated for a Brit Award as one of the five best international groups. They were nominated again in 2019.
