Florijan Kadriu (born 30 September 1995) is a Macedonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Erzeni Shijak. [1]

Career

Kadriu was born in Kičevo.

Tirana

On 10 August 2015, Kadriu went to a trial with the most successful team of Albania, KF Tirana. [2] Only two days later, he successfully passed the trial after making a superb performance in the friendly against Korabi Peshkopi, scoring in the 3–0 win. [3] He was later awarded with a three-year contract. [4] [5]

One month later, on 12 September, Kadriu made his Albanian Superliga debut, playing the last 23 minutes of the goalless draw against the newcomers of Bylis Ballsh at Qemal Stafa Stadium, [6] and four days later scored the winning goal against the underdogs of Erzeni in a match valid for the first leg of the first round of 2015–16 Albanian Cup. [7]

Loan to Teuta

On 13 January 2016, Kadriu was loaned to fellow Albanian Superliga side Teuta Durrës until the end of the season in order to gain more experience. [8]

Shkupi

On 3 August 2016, Kadriu was released by Tirana, [9] which led him to join Macedonian First Football League side Shkupi on a free transfer, signing a one-year contract. [10] He made his competitive debut four days later by playing as a substitute in a 1–1 draw against Vardar. [11] A week later, Kadriu started for the first time in the 1–0 home defeat to Rabotnički, playing for 79 minutes. [12]

Sabail

On 4 August 2020, Kadriu signed for Sabail FK on a contract until the end of the 2020–21 season. [13] On 31 May 2021, Sabail announced that Kadriu had left the club. [14]

The 2018–19 Kategoria e Parë was the 71st official season of the Albanian football second division since its establishment. The season began on 9 September 2018 and ended on 25 May 2019. There were 20 teams competing this season, split in 2 groups, each with 10 teams. The top 5 teams from each group qualified to the promotion round, while the last teams qualified to the relegation round. The 2 winners of the qualification round gained promotion to the 2019–20 Kategoria Superiore, and played the division's final against each other. Bylis and Vllaznia were promoted to the 2019–20 Kategoria Superiore. Tomori and Vora were relegated to the 2019−20 Kategoria e Dytë. Along with the Superliga, the club was also participated in the Albanian Supercup, Albanian Cup, and the Champions League qualifying stage. The season began in August 2022 and ended in May 2023.
