In addition they have recorded and released albums such as Yakaleo and El Desquite.

Nelson Díaz Martinez, known professionally as DJ Nelson is a Puerto Rican DJ and record producer who played a significant role in the development and popularization of reggaeton. He first made a name for himself as part of the Noise, a club-centered collective that was spawned in 1994. The Noise—composed of DJs, MCs, producers, and club coordinators—hosted a long-lasting series of club nights in San Juan that were vital to the development and popularization of reggaeton. DJ Nelson earned credit as one of the top Noise DJs, and he also served as a producer and arranger for the collective's music.

Tony Feliciano Rivera, better known by stage name Tony Dize, is an American singer of Puerto Rican descent. His first recorded performance was from the album Blin Blin, Vol. 1, with Wisin & Yandel in 2003, after which he collaborated with other artists of the genre and later released his debut album in 2008 titled La Melodía de la Calle under WY Records and Machete Music. He was signed to Pina Records, for which he released La Melodía de la Calle: Updated in 2009.

Contra la Corriente is the debut production album by reggaeton producer Noriega after releasing the previous year Mas Flow with Luny Tunes. Many of reggaeton biggest stars were included on the album including Alexis & Fido, Tito "El Bambino", Zion & Lennox and Ivy Queen.

Ñejo & Dálmata, also known as Ñejo y Dálmata, are a reggaeton duo from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ñejo was born June 20, 1975 & Dálmata was born February 27, 1979. They had worked together in collaborations with other reggaeton artists before they released their duo album Broke & Famous in 2007 which peaked at 8 on the 'Billboard Latin Rhythms Albums Chart" and at 9 on the "Top Heatseekers Chart", as well as a number of their singles also charting on Billboard.

"Pasarela" is a 2007 single by Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Dalmata from DJ Nelson's second compilation album Flow la Discoteka 2. It was released in February 2007 by Universal Music Group and was produced by DJ Nelson, Marioso, DJ Unique and DJ Memo. The song features a unique reggaeton sound incorporating sounds from Mexican mariachi. Dalmata was practically unknown in the reggaeton scene before the release of this song, which brought him international fame.

Nova & Jory were a reggaeton duo. Nova was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and Jory was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico. They started their career in 2003 and were signed to Loud Music at the time of their split. Their debut and only album Mucha Calidad, which after a couple setbacks and push dates, was officially released on July 12, 2011. In October 2012 they announced they had split amicably. Both artists are now pursuing independent solo careers.

Wibal & Alex are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo, consisting of José Rivera (Wibal) and José Díaz (Alex). The song "La Nena del Caserío" is one of the best known of the duet.
