Floyd E. Clack (born December 21, 1940)[1] is a Michigan educator and politician who currently serves as a member of the Eastern Michigan University (EMU) board of regents. Among other offices he has served as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives.
Born in Houston, Texas,[1] Clack has an M.A. in Education from EMU in 1972. He taught for many years in the Flint Public Schools and was also a guidance counselor in that school district.
Clack began his career as a politician with an election to the Flint City Council in 1979. He served in that position until 1992 when he was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives. He served in the Michigan house until 1996 when he was ineligible to run for reelection due to term limits. From 1996-2004 he served as a member of the Genesee County board of Commissioners. In 2005 he was appointed to the EMU Board of Regents by Governor Jennifer Granholm.

David Lee Camp is a former American politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1991 to 2015. Camp represented Michigan's 4th congressional district since 1993, and previously served one term representing Michigan's 10th congressional district. A member of the Republican Party, Camp was chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, serving from 2011 to 2015. In March 2014, he announced that he would not run for re-election.
George W. Mans Jr. was an American college football player and coach and politician. He was the captain of the 1961 Michigan Wolverines football team, an assistant football coach at the University of Michigan from 1966 to 1973, and the head coach of the Eastern Michigan Eagles football team from 1974 to 1975. Mans later went into politics, serving as the mayor of Trenton, Michigan and a member of the Michigan House of Representatives.
James Ananich is an American politician from the State of Michigan. He was a Democratic Party member of the Michigan State Senate from 2013 to 2023, representing the 27th district, which is located in Genesee County and includes the cities Burton, Clio, Flint, Mount Morris and Swartz Creek and the townships of Flint Township, Forest, Genesee, Mount Morris, Richfield, Thetford and Vienna. He was the minority leader from 2015 to 2023.
Daniel Timothy Kildee is an American politician serving as a U.S. representative from Michigan since 2013, representing the state's 8th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the Genesee County Treasurer from 1996 to 2013, before succeeding his uncle, Dale Kildee, in Congress. From 1977 to 2009, Kildee was a municipal elected official. On November 16, 2023, he announced he would not seek re-election in 2024.
Sheldon Andre Neeley is an American politician, currently serving as the Mayor of Flint, Michigan. He was elected as Flint's mayor in 2019 and served an abbreviated three-year term before being re-elected in 2022. Neeley is a registered Democrat and a former state representative in Michigan's 34th House district. He served two complete terms and one partial term in the Michigan House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019. He resigned from his position in the House when he was elected as the Mayor of Flint in 2019. Neeley's wife, Cynthia, was elected to his former seat on March 10, 2020. Neeley served two complete terms and one partial term on the Flint City Council between 2005 and 2014, prior to his tenure as Michigan Representative and was the Council's first African-American member to have come from Flint's Sixth Ward.

Pamela Louise Pugh is an American public health scientist, politician, and the current president of the Michigan State Board of Education. She first won election to the board in 2014 and was reelected in 2022. She was a Democratic candidate for Michigan's 8th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2024.
