Focaccia pugliese ("Puglian focaccia") is an Italian potato bread. It is named after the region of Apulia (also known as Puglia). [1] It differs from focaccia genovese , the more widely-known variety of focaccia, in that it incorporates potatoes in the dough, and is often topped with tomatoes and olives. [2]
Particularly famous is focaccia barese ("Barese focaccia") from Bari.
