The football tournament at the 1990 Central American Games was held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from 5 to 14 January. [1] Costa Rica and Nicaragua were invited to enter their U-21 teams to play in the tournament along with hosts Honduras.

Central America is a subcontinent of North America. The 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup was the ninth version of the biennial football tournament for the CONCACAF national teams of Central America. The event took place in San Salvador, El Salvador from February 8 to February 18, 2007. It was the second time El Salvador hosted the competition. The tournament also served as a qualifying process for the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The 1941 CCCF Championship was the first CCCF Championship, a tournament conducted between the years of 1941–1961. It was sanctioned by the Confederacion Centroamericana y del Caribe de Futbol, the football (soccer) governing body for Central America and the nations in the Caribbean prior to 1961, when it was replaced by CONCACAF.
