Luigi "Geno" Auriemma is an Italian-born American college basketball coach and, since 1985, the head coach of the University of Connecticut Huskies women's basketball team. As of 2021, he has led UConn to 17 undefeated conference seasons, of which six were undefeated overall seasons, with 11 NCAA Division I national championships, the most in women's college basketball history, and has won eight national Naismith College Coach of the Year awards. Auriemma was the head coach of the United States women's national basketball team from 2009 through 2016, during which time his teams won the 2010 and 2014 World Championships, and gold medals at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, going undefeated in all four tournaments. Auriemma was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.

Tara Ann VanDerveer is an American basketball coach who has been the head women's basketball coach at Stanford University since 1985. Designated the Setsuko Ishiyama Director of Women's Basketball, VanDerveer led the Stanford Cardinal to three NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championships: in 1990, 1992 and 2021. She stepped away from the Stanford program for a year to serve as the U.S. national team head coach at the 1996 Olympic Games. VanDerveer is the 1990 Naismith National Coach of the Year and a ten-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year. She is also one of only nine NCAA Women's Basketball coaches to win over 900 games, and one of ten NCAA Division I coaches – men's or women's – to win 1,000 games. VanDerveer was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002. On December 15, 2020 she passed Pat Summitt for most wins in women's college basketball history.

Gary Claude Blair was the head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies women's basketball team for the last 19 years of his 32 year career. In his 32 years as a collegiate head coach, Blair has only suffered two losing seasons, and has reached postseason play 28 times, including 23 NCAA Tournament appearances and 2 Final Four appearances in 1998 at Arkansas and 2011 at Texas A&M. He led the Aggies to the NCAA national championship in 2011. Tom Maher is an Australian basketball coach, who is the most successful coach in Women's National Basketball League history, having won nine WNBL titles. He coached Nunawading Spectres to six titles, Perth, Canberra and Bulleen to one apiece. Danny Kerry MBE is an English international field hockey coach. He was the head coach for the England and Great Britain Men's teams from September 2018 until January 2022. He had previously been Head Coach for the England and Great Britain Women's teams from 2005 to 2012 and 2014 to 2018. During this tenure the national teams medalled at Commonwealth, European, World and Olympic level. Kerry was voted Team GB coach of the year in 2016 following the Rio Olympic Games, and awarded the Sam Musabini medal by UK Coaching.

OL Reign is an American professional women's soccer team based in Seattle, Washington. Founded by Bill and Teresa Predmore in 2012 as Seattle Reign FC, it was one of eight inaugural members of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Jim Foster is the former head coach of the women's college basketball team at Chattanooga. He has previously served as a head coach of the women's basketball team at St. Joseph's, Vanderbilt and Ohio State. He has been elected to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the class of 2013. On February 1, 2018, Foster notched his 900th career win as a head coach, becoming the eighth fastest to reach that mark and tying for seventh in all-time career wins. He announced his retirement in May 2018, after 40 years on the bench.
