For Real is a 2009 film which follows the point of view of six-year-old Shruti (Zoya Hassan). Family discord has a deep impact on her and she starts feeling that her mother (Sarita Choudhury) is an alien from the Orion galaxy who has exchanged places with her own mother.
Six-year-old Shruti believes her mother, Priya, has been replaced by an alien from the Orion galaxy. She turns to her brother for help, but he doesn't believe her. Her father as always is so wrapped up in his work that he remains unavailable to her. Unable to bear the absence of her real mother, Shruti decides to set out and get her real mother back.
This is an intense movie dealing with the impact of seemingly trivial family tiffs on the tender psychology of a child. It portrays the world from the standpoint of a little child and shows how children perceive various things in life. [1]

The film was well received, drawing praise as the only English-language film in the Indian Panorama section of the 40th International Film Festival of India. It took almost five years for the film to find sponsors and it was finally released in 2009. [4]

Sarita Catherine Louise Choudhury is a British actress. She made her screen debut starring in the romantic drama film Mississippi Masala (1991). She later appeared in American and international film productions, include A Perfect Murder (1998), Restless (1998), She Hate Me (2004), The War Within (2005), Lady in the Water (2006), Midnight's Children (2012), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014) and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015), A Hologram for the King (2016), and The Green Knight (2021).

Kya Kehna dealt with the taboo issue of pre-marital pregnancy and society views on the same, and stars Preity Zinta in the central role as a single teenage mother, with Saif Ali Khan, Chandrachur Singh, Farida Jalal and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. The music was composed by Rajesh Roshan.
Priyasakhi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by K. S. Adhiyaman and produced by P. L. Thenappan. The film stars Madhavan and Sadha, while Aishwarya, Ramesh Khanna, Manobala and Kovai Sarala feature in supporting roles. The film is a contemporary Indian take on life and pregnancy topics, and was remade in Hindi by the same director as Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar. Production began in December 2004 and the film was released in 22 July 2005.

Tulasi Munda is a social activist from the Indian state of Odisha. She was awarded the Padma Shri in 2001 by Government of India for her contribution to spreading literacy among the impoverished adivasi peoples of Odisha. Munda started an informal school in 1964 in Odisha's iron ore mining area to educate children from local adivasi populations, who would otherwise have ended up as child labour in the mines. She had been a child labourer in the mines of Keonjhar herself.

It received positive reviews and became a box-office success. It completed 50 weeks in theatres. Gangaa is an Indian, Hindi-language, television soap opera that premiered on 2 March 2015 on &TV. The show ended on 2 June 2017 after 595 episodes. The show was produced by Sphere Origins and initially starred child actors Swar Hingonia as child Sagar, Ruhana Khanna as child Gangaa and Raj Singh Verma as Gangaa's father (Bappa). Shruti Haasan is an Indian actress, composer and playback singer who works in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil films. Born into the prominent Haasan family, she is the daughter of actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika. Shruti Haasan started her career as a playback singer at the age of six in the 1992 Tamil film Thevar Magan. She later made a cameo appearance in her father's Tamil-Hindi bilingual directorial Hey Ram (2000) as a child artist. Haasan's first major appearance was in the Hindi film Luck (2009), in which she played a dual role of a woman avenging her twin sister's death.
