Forbasach mac Ailella (died 740) was a King of Osraige in modern County Kilkenny. He ruled from 735 to 740.
His genealogy is not recorded in Rawlinson Genealogies; the annals record only that he was slain but give no details. [1] His son Fáelán mac Forbasaig (died 786) was a King of Osraige.[ citation needed ]
The Book of Leinster king lists an Ailill mac Fáeláin as king prior to Cellach mac Fáelchair (died 735). This Ailill would be the brother of Cú Cherca mac Fáeláin (died 712) and son of Fáelán mac Crundmaíl (died 660), previous kings.[ citation needed ]
Muiredach mac Brain was a King of Leinster of the Uí Dúnchada sept of the Uí Dúnlainge branch of the Laigin. This sept had their royal seat at Líamhain. He was the son of Bran mac Fáeláin and brother of Ruarc mac Brain, previous kings.
Rónán mac Colmáin was a King of Leinster following Brandub mac Echach. There were two men named Rónán mac Colmáin active in Leinster in the early seventh century and confusion exists as to which one was king. Some later sources confuse the two Rónáns, but historian Francis John Byrne notes that the earliest sources do not.

Ailill Cruitire mac Áedo Sláine was a King of Brega from the Síl nÁedo Sláine branch of the southern Ui Neill. He was the son of the high king Áed Sláine mac Diarmato. His byname meant "harper".

The dynasty that ruled over Osraige in the early Christian period was known as the Dál Birn. He ruled from 693 to 712. The Irish annals mention only his death. His son Anmchad mac Con Cherca was also King of Osraige.

Anmchad mac Con Cherca was king of Osraige, a kingdom largely situated in modern County Kilkenny and western County Laois and forming part of the kingdom and province of Munster in south and south-west Ireland. Anmchad was an active ruler, who mounted repeated campaigns against his eastern neighbours in Leinster.
