Forum of Free Enterprise

The Forum of Free Enterprise is a non-political organization, established to educate public opinion in India on free enterprise and democratic way of life. The Forum publishes booklets and leaflets, organises meetings and essay competitions to further its objects. It was founded in 1956 by industrialist and economist [1] A.D. Shroff and has its office in Mumbai. [2]

Naqaab is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language suspense thriller film directed by the famous duo Abbas–Mustan. The film reunites Akshaye Khanna and Bobby Deol after Humraaz in 2002, which was also directed by Abbas-Mustan. Additionally, Deol and Khanna played the antagonist and protagonist roles in this film, respectively, which were the opposite roles of what they played in Humraaz. This is also the fourth collaboration of Deol and Abbas-Mustan. Also, former model Urvashi Sharma makes her film debut as the leading actress of the film. The story of the film is inspired by the Hollywood movie Dot the I.

Hero is a 1983 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Subhash Ghai. Jackie Shroff played the lead role, and achieved stardom through this film. The actress Meenakshi Sheshadri, who had been Miss India in 1981 and played the lead female role gained popularity through this movie. The music was written by Laxmikant Pyarelal and songs are still popular. The movie was declared a blockbuster in the box office.

Ardeshir Darabshaw Shroff was an industrialist, banker and economist of India. In 1944, Shroff served as a non-official delegate at the United Nations "Bretton Woods Conference" on post-war monetary and financial systems. In the same year, and with seven other leading industrialists, Shroff co-authored the Bombay Plan, which was a set of proposals for the development of the post-independence Indian economy.

<i>Kartoos</i> 1999 Indian film

Kartoos is a 1999 Indian Hindi action thriller film directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starring Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala. It was the last release of Mahesh Bhatt as a director until the release of Sadak 2 (2020). The film borrows its plot idea from the 1993 film Point of No Return, which in turn is a remake of the French film La Femme Nikita, where Bridget Fonda essays a role which is very similar to that character of Sanjay Dutt. The film was remade in Tamil as Paramasivan (2006).

The film serves as a sequel to the 2014 film Heropanti. It stars Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria. It was released on 29 April 2022.
