It hosted the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1912 to 1999, as well as the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL) from 1938 to 1939, 1941 to 1974. Tiger Stadium was declared a State of Michigan Historic Site in 1975 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The ballpark is located in the East Village neighborhood of downtown San Diego, adjacent to the Gaslamp Quarter. Presentation College (PC) was a private Roman Catholic college with its main campus in Aberdeen, South Dakota and a branch campus in Fairmont, Minnesota. The college, founded in 1951 and co-educational since 1968, enrolled about 800 students at its height in 2016. It took its name from the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (PBVM), the original sponsors. It grew out of their Notre Dame Junior College, founded in 1922 in Mitchell, South Dakota. The college closed on October 31, 2023 due to financial and enrollment challenges.

Hal Robertson Field at Phillip Satow Stadium is a baseball venue in New York, New York, United States. It is home to the Columbia Lions baseball team of the NCAA Division I Ivy League. The facility is named for two Columbia baseball alumni– Hal Robertson and Phillip Satow. In 2007, a FieldTurf surface was installed, allowing for more use of the field during the offseason. In 2010, chairback seats were added, and the dugouts, press box, and scoreboard were renovated.
The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) that began play in the 2013–14 school year. The conference currently has six full member institutions in Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. On December 28, 2023, the conference announced it will disband following the 2024–25 school year.
Kevin James Kiermaier is an American former professional baseball outfielder who played eleven seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays, and Los Angeles Dodgers. Known for his strong defense, Kiermaier won the Gold Glove Award for center fielders in 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2023, and the Platinum Glove Award in 2015.

The university, formerly the SUNY Institute of Technology, has a Utica, New York mailing address and was established in 1987.
The Expedition League was a collegiate summer baseball league in the Great Plains region of the United States and Canada. The league was founded in 2015 in Rapid City, South Dakota, by Steve Wagner, who also served as president. The league's inaugural season was 2018 with eight teams. It played its final season in 2022.
Adley Stan Rutschman is an American professional baseball catcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for the Oregon State Beavers. He was named the Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year in 2019. The Orioles selected Rutschman with the first overall selection in the 2019 MLB draft, and he signed for $8.1 million, at the time the highest MLB draft signing bonus ever. Rutschman made his MLB debut in 2022 and is a two-time All-Star.
The Hub City Hot Shots were an amateur baseball club located in Aberdeen, South Dakota. They were formed in 2018. The Hot Shots were a part of the Expedition League and were in the Lewis Division. In their two seasons, they had gone 51-73.
