Fox Chapel Area High School (Established in 1961) is a public school located in the Pittsburgh suburb of O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was recognized and honored as a National Blue Ribbon School twice.
The Fox Chapel Area High School serves the municipalities of Fox Chapel, Aspinwall, Blawnox, Indiana, O'Hara and Sharpsburg.
•The Fox Chapel Area Keystone Exam pass rates for 11th graders have also all increased, and more than 90 percent of students are passing the Algebra I, literature, and biology exams.
•In 2013–2014, Fox Chapel Area exceeded the standards for student academic growth in 26 percent of the categories. In 2015–2016, Fox Chapel Area exceeded the standards for student academic growth in 80 percent of the categories.
•A total of 420 students graduated in the class of 2017, and 89.5 percent of the class is enrolled in some form of continuing education.
•The high school was recognized for Programs of Distinction in Visual Arts in 2015 and received Exemplary Educational Program Credentials in music and school counseling in 2012 from the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
•Fox Chapel Area High School has been awarded Silver Medal rankings by U.S. News & World Report over the past decade and is consistently ranked among the nation's top high schools by Newsweek.
•The high school is also ranked among the top 200 high schools in the nation and received an “A+ Overall Niche Grade” on niche.com.
•The school was also named among the 2017 Washington Post's America's Most Challenging High Schools.
•Fox Chapel Area High School's Orchestra Director, Mrs. Mairi Cooper was named Pennsylvania's 2015 teacher of the year.
High school renovations were completed in 2016 and the building has a new swimming pool/natatorium and an upgraded library/media center, auditorium, cafeteria, and commons area. The high school includes state-of-the-art computer, science, digital art, technology, and music labs.

Fox Chapel is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States, and is a suburb of Pittsburgh located 6 miles (10 km) northeast of downtown. The population was 5,343 as of the 2020 census. The borough continually garners national prominence and is home to many of the wealthiest and most powerful patriciate families in Pennsylvania.
Floyd Ganassi Jr. better known as Chip Ganassi, is an American businessman, former racing driver, current team owner and member of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. He has been involved with the North American auto racing scene for over 30 years. He is owner and CEO of Chip Ganassi Racing which operates teams in the IndyCar Series, WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, FIA World Endurance Championship, and Extreme E. He is the only team owner in history to have won the Indianapolis 500, the Daytona 500, the Brickyard 400, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and most recently the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

A native of O'Hara Township, Pennsylvania, he was considered a rising star in the Republican party, eventually being named by his caucus to the position of Majority Deputy Whip. In 2006 he resigned his position after being found guilty of violations of the state Ethics Code, alleging false antrax attacks and using state staffers for personal use.
Gilmour Academy is an independent, Catholic, coeducational, college-preparatory day and boarding school in the Cleveland suburb of Gates Mills, Ohio, United States. Founded in 1946 by the Brothers of Holy Cross, Gilmour Academy has three divisions, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School. In the Lower School, Gilmour offers a Montessori preschool program for 18 months - PreK. The Lower School also houses the children in kindergarten through Grade 6. Gilmour's Middle School holds 7th and 8th grades, and, as of the 2021-2022 school year, has 65 students. At nearly 500 students, Gilmour's Upper School has grades 9-12. A boarding program is available to students in grades 9–12.

Stage Right is a theatre company located in the Fox Chapel area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Established in the mid-1960s, the theatre has staged productions of contemporary plays such as Alan Ayckbourn's Absurd Person Singular, Ken Ludwig's Leading Ladies, Paul Rudnick's I Hate Hamlet, and Yasmina Reza's 'Art'. Stage Right's productions are held in the Boyd Community Center in O'Hara Township and utilizes local actors from Pittsburgh's theatre scene. The company has also produced plays in conjunction with the Pittsburgh New Works Festival.
