Francesco Ferrari (born August 18, 2005) is an Italian professional basketball player for the UEB Gesteco Cividale of the Italian Serie A2.

National team career

Ferrari played for the Italy men's national under-18 basketball team during the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship (averaged 16.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists) and 2024 FIBA U20 EuroBasket (8.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists), his represented teams were eliminated both times in the Round of 16. In 2025, Ferrari played for the Italian men's national under-20 basketball team in the 2025 FIBA U20 EuroBasket and by averaging 15.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists per game led his team to gold medals, defeating the Lithuanian national team in the final 83–66. [2] Ferrari was named the MVP of the 2025 FIBA U20 EuroBasket and included into the tournament's All-Star Five. [3]

Ferrari's basketball idol is an Italian basketball player Danilo Gallinari. [4]
