The Sydney Swans is a professional Australian rules football club competing in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club was established in 1874 in Melbourne, Victoria as the South Melbourne Football Club, and in 1982 relocated to Sydney, New South Wales, making it the first club in the competition to be based outside of Victoria.
The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Samuel Frost is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He entered top-level football early when he played as a bottom-aged player for the Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup. On the 11th of October 2019 he was traded to Hawthorn.

He was recruited by Sydney on the eve of the 2019 season as a pre-season supplemental selection, and made his AFL debut later that year.
