Francisco Grande is a hotel and golf resort is located in Casa Grande, Arizona, approximately 46 miles south east of Phoenix.
In 1959 the San Francisco Giants' owner Horace Stoneham developed the property as a spring training camp for his popular Major League Baseball team. The name of the property was taken from the San "Francisco" Giants and Casa "Grande".
During its early years, the hotel was popular with celebrities like John Wayne and Pat Boone. Guests are able to stay in their eponymously titled suites.
After the Giants moved to the original Scottsdale Stadium, the California Angels used the facility from 1982 until 1984. The next two years saw the transformation of the baseball fields into football fields, which were used as the training camp headquarters for the USFL's Arizona Wranglers and the Denver Gold.
From 1984 to 2002, the Francisco Grande operated as a destination golf resort. The course was 5,224 yards from the front tees and a long 7,545 yards from the championship tees.
In 2003, the resort was closed for renovations which cost approximately $8.5 million. It reopened in 2005.
There are two restaurants within the hotel - Duke's and Legends. Duke's is named after John Wayne and Legends specializes in Southwestern cuisine.

The following is a timeline of the history of the area which today comprises the U.S. state of Arizona. Situated in the desert southwest, for millennia the area was home to a series of Pre-Columbian peoples. By 1 AD, the dominant groups in the area were the Hohokam, the Mogollon, and the Ancestral Puebloans. The Hohokam dominated the center of the area which is now Arizona, the Mogollon the southeast, and the Puebloans the north and northeast. As these cultures disappeared between 1000 and 1400 AD, other Indian groups settled in Arizona. These tribes included the Navajo, Apache, Southern Paiute, Hopi, Yavapai, Akimel O'odham, and the Tohono O'odham.
Eleven Mile Corner, Arizona, is a former settlement and Rural Postal Station now largely considered to be an unincorporated portion of the city of Casa Grande, with which it now shares a common zip code. The area was so named due to its location being 11 miles to the east of Casa Grande, 11 miles north of Eloy, Arizona, and 11 miles Southwest of Coolidge, Arizona. The area came to be in the early 1940s when State Hwy 87 was cut through approximately 3 miles to the East, and the existing road between Casa Grande, Coolidge, and Florence was improved and became a sub-segment and by-way of Hwy 87. A second road was cut through intersecting with Florence Blvd. connecting Eloy with the O' Odam Tash Indian reservation. This intersection became Eleven Mile Corner.
Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort is a hotel resort and sports facility in Mesquite, Nevada. It originally began construction in 1996, as the Mesquite Star hotel-casino. Construction was delayed because of financial issues, but it began to pick up heavily in October 1997. The Mesquite Star opened on July 1, 1998, although owner NevStar Gaming faced further financial problems and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December 1999. The Mesquite Star closed in March 2000, followed by a series of legal issues. It was purchased by Virgin River Casino Corporation, which later operated the facility without a casino as the Virgin River Convention Center.
Joseph Andrew Bart is an American professional baseball catcher in the San Francisco Giants organization. Bart played college baseball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Giants chose him with the second overall pick of the 2018 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2020.
