Francis Michael Chesley (born July 14, 1955) is a former linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). Chesley was born on July 14, 1955 in Washington, D.C., where he attended Eastern High School. [1] After a chance encounter with a track-and-field coach from the University of Wyoming, Chesley started attending the school and played baseball for one season. After quitting baseball, he walked-on to the school's football team. After starting out as a safety and a tight end, injuries opened up a defensive end position, where Chesley eventually flourished and became a starter. [2]
Chesley was drafted in the sixth round of the 1978 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints, the only player from his college team selected in the draft. After sustaining an injury before the season and missing a few weeks of practices, Chesley was released by the Saints. [3] The Green Bay Packers signed Chesley late in the 1978 NFL season after a number of injuries to their linebackers. [4] Chesley played one game for the Packers. [1] He is a brother to fellow NFL players Al Chesley and John Chesley. [5]
Michael Robert Prior is a former American football safety who played 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers. He played college football at Illinois State. Prior currently serves as the Football Development Commissioner for the Indianapolis Colts.
Robert Mann was an American professional football player in the National Football League (NFL). A native of New Bern, North Carolina, Mann played college football for the Hampton Pirates in 1942 and 1943 and the Michigan Wolverines in 1944, 1946 and 1947. Playing the end position, he broke the Big Ten Conference record for receiving yards in 1946 and 1947. After not being selected in the 1948 NFL draft, Mann signed his first professional football contract with the Detroit Lions, where he stayed for two seasons. He later played for the Green Bay Packers for parts of five seasons until 1954. Mann broke the color barrier for both teams.

He left Trinity holding almost every team passing record. Shield was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 1985 NFL draft; he played in three games over two seasons for the Packers before leaving football.

He then returned to NMU where he served from 1956 to 1961 as a coach in four sports. He later was an assistant coach for the Wyoming Cowboys and coach and administrator for the Green Bay Packers.
