Frans van Ruth (born 27 April 1951) is a Dutch Classical pianist and songwriter. [1] Mostly known for his works Songs in Love and Death and Allegro. [2]
Frans van Ruth studied at Utrecht Conservatory at world renowned music school in Utrecht, Netherlands. [3] Van Ruth studied at multiple schools during his youth due to his family moving frequently. Due to this is what Van T Ruth credits with making him begin playing the piano.
van Ruth began his career in 1970 at the age of 19. In his career particularly in his career beginnings he expressed an interest in Dutch music particularly classical music and piano. Van Ruth and a colleague Willem Noske studied heavily on the music in the Netherlands in the 19th century, resulting in numerous concerts and recordings. Nearly three quarters of Van Ruth's work and recordings were made and released in the first 15 years of his career. In 1995 he worked with flutist Eleonore Pameijerdean founder of the Leo Smit Foundation. Until 2004 he is a programmer and pianist of the Uilenburger Concerts organized by the foundation in Amsterdam. [4] [5] [6] [7]
Cellist Doris Hochscheid and van Ruth have been playing a duo for many years, mostly at small private concerts or in concert halls around Europe. He is also co-founder of the Amsterdam Bridge Ensemble. Since 1997, Ruth is the main chamber music of the Amsterdam Conservatory. Since the late 1990s van Ruth remains active in his work usually performing about a dozen time a year at mostly private concerts but will do some general admission concerts through the Netherlands, Europe and most of Russia. Van Ruth remains active in the musical world and is part of multiple music collectives and groups in Amsterdam and around the Netherlands. [13]

Johannes "Johan" Gerardus Diederik van Hell was a Dutch visual artist and musician. His work was included in the 1939 exhibition and sale Onze Kunst van Heden at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. He was a dedicated socialist and a man with a highly developed social conscience. Many of his later works depict the struggles and plight of ‘the man in the street’. In 1925, he decided to produce lithographs to make art available at a reasonable price to the working class. He also gave free private art and music lessons to gifted students who could not afford the tuition.
The Symphonic Variations, M. 46, is a work for piano and orchestra written in 1885 by César Franck. It has been described as "one of Franck's tightest and most finished works", "a superb blending of piano and orchestra", and "a flawless work and as near perfection as a human composer can hope to get in a work of this nature". It is a fine example of Franck's use of cyclic unity, with one theme growing into various others. The piano and orchestra share equally in the continuous evolution of ideas. The work is in F♯ minor. Duration in performance is about fifteen minutes, and the instrumentation is piano solo and orchestra: pairs of flutes, oboes, clarinets, and bassoons; four horns; two trumpets; timpani; and strings.
Eleonore Pameijer is a Dutch musician who studied flute with Koos Verheul at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam where she received her solo diploma cum laude. She continued her studies with Abbie de Quant and with Sue Ann Kahn at Bennington College, also following master classes with Julius Baker, Samuel Baron and the legendary French flutist Marcel Moyse.

Kees Kooper was a Dutch violinist. He lived in Amsterdam through World War II. A 1951 prizewinner in the Queen Elisabeth Competition, Kooper debuted in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
