Franziska Stark (born 4 July 1961) is a German pool player. [1]

A winner of 24 Individual German Championships (7 in 8-Ball, 5 in 9-Ball and 12 in 14.1), [2] she has also had considerable international success. Her career highlight so far has been winning the WPA 9-Ball Women's World Championship 1992 final against the American Vivian Villarreal. [3] In 1998, she made it to the finals again, but was beaten by the Englishwoman Allison Fisher.

Franziska reached 23 European Championship finals between 1986 and 2000, winning 11 of them. She was a member of the losing Europe team at the first Mosconi Cup in 1994, when it was compulsory to have two women in each team.

Nick van den Berg Dutch pool player

Nick van den Berg is a Dutch professional pool player. He was the runner up at the 2005 WPA World Eight-ball Championship, where he lost to Wu Chia-ching 11–5 in the final. He is a multiple time winner of events on the Euro Tour, winning 10 tournaments between 2002 and 2017, the fourth highest in the history of the tour. A six-time winner of the European Pool Championships, Van den Berg has represented Europe at the Mosconi Cup on eight occasions, winning the event on six occasions as well as tying the event in 2006.

Jasmin Ouschan Austrian pool player

Jasmin Ouschan is an Austrian professional pool player from Klagenfurt, Carinthia. Her first professional competition occurred in 2002, but she did not officially become a professional member of the Women's Professional Billiards Association (WPBA) until 2007. She is currently one of the top-ranked women in the world according to the 2010 prize money list and by the WPBA rankings. At times, she has been ranked as the number one female player in the world. Since 2006, she has been listed among the top-ten women in the annual prize money rankings. Ouschan competes regularly with men on the Euro Tour and in 2008 became the first woman to earn a medal in an open world pool championship.

Marcus Chamat Swedish pool player, born 1975

Marcus Chamat, is a Swedish professional eight-ball and nine-ball pool player. He was nicknamed "Napoleon" due to his personality and standing at 5 ft 4 in (1.63 m) tall. He is a two time European Pool Championships winner, and one of the most successful players on the Euro Tour, winning four events, and finishing runner-up on twice. Chamat reached the semi-finals of the 2004 WPA World Nine-ball and the 2008 WPA World Eight-ball Championships, but did not reach the final of a world championship event.

Oliver Ortmann German three time world champion pool player

Oliver Ortmann is a German professional pool player from Gelsenkirchen. Ortmann is a three-time world champion, winning the 1995 WPA World Nine-ball Championship and both the 2007 and 2010 Straight pool world championships. Ortmann is the second player to win three world championships. With fourteen wins, he is one of the most successful players at the European Pool Championships. Ortmann is the second to Ralf Souquet on the Euro Tour, winning fourteen events. Ortmann was the first player from Europe to win the U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship, in 1989.

Daryl Peach is an English professional pool player, from Lancashire, who resides in Blackpool, England. He won the 2007 WPA World Nine-ball Championship, where he defeated the Philippines' Roberto Gomez 17–15 in the final to become the first British player to win the WPA World Nine-ball Championship.

Jana Franziska Poll German volleyball player

Jana Franziska Poll is a German volleyball player, member of the Germany women's national volleyball team. At club level, she plays for German Allianz MTV Stuttgart.

Joshua Filler is a German pool player from Bönen, Germany. In 2018 Filler defeated Carlo Biado 13–10 to win the 2018 WPA World Nine-ball Championship. The same year he was the youngest player to win the China Open and 2018 10-ball European Pool Championships. Filler became WPA and Euro Tour world number 1 in 2019, and later reached the final of the 2019 WPA World Ten-ball Championship before losing 10–7 to Ko Ping-chung.

The 2011 European Pool Championships was a series of professional pool championships that took place at the Steel Palace, in Brandenburg, Germany. The events were played between 23 March and 3 April 2011 were part of the European Pool Championships; and featured events for men, women and wheelchair players across four pool disciplines: straight Pool, eight-ball, nine-ball, and ten-ball. The tournament was hosted by the European Pocket Billiard Federation and organised by the International Billiard Promotion, with the final of the men's nine-ball event broadcast on Eurosport. Austria was the most successful nation, winning three events – all by Jasmin Ouschan. Jouni Tähti won two of the three wheelchair events, losing just one match in the final of the nine-ball tournament to Henrik Larsson.

Francisco Sánchez Ruíz is a Spanish professional pool player. Sanchez is a Junior world 9-ball champion, defeating Jesse Engel 11–6 in the final. In 2016, he would win his first major championship, winning the 9-ball event at the 2016 European Pool Championships. Sanchez would defeat Joshua Filler in the final, 9–3. The same year, Sanchez would also reach the final of the 8-Ball event, but would lose 7–8 to Vitaly Pazura.

Sanjin Pehlivanović is a Bosnian professional pool player. Pehlivanovic is a former U17 WPA 9-Ball World Champion, defeating Robbie Capito in the final 9–1. He is also a two-time junior European Pool Championships champion, winning events 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and 10-Ball.

Han Yu is a Chinese professional pool player. She is a three time WPA World Nine-ball Championship women's champion, winning the event in 2013, 2016 and 2018. Han is also a semi-finalist in three further world championships, in 2017 in the 9-ball event, and 2011 and 2014 in 10-Ball.

Kristina Olegovna Tkach is a Russian professional pool player. She became the 2017 WPA World Nine-ball Junior Championship winner, defeating Lee Woo-jin in the final 9–6. Tkach is a four time European champion having won the eight-ball event in 2016 and 2019, as well as Straight pool in 2017 and 2019. In addition, she is a nine-time Junior European Champion.

The 2019 European Pool Championships was a series of professional pool championships that took place at the Best Western Premier in Treviso, Italy. The event was played between 26 April and 8 May 2019 and was the 39th edition of the European Pool Championships that were first held in 1980. The championships saw events for men, women, under 23s and wheelchairs across five disciplines; straight pool, eight-ball, nine-ball, ten-ball and a team event.

Diana Khodjaeva is a Belgian pool player. Khodjaeva is a former junior WPA World Nine-ball Championship winner, having won the girls event in 2012. Khodjaeva represented Europe at the Atlantic Challenge Cup in 2017 against the United States team. Khodjaeva is a two time European champion.

Kristina Grim German pool player, born August 1991

Kristina Grim is a German pool player. She is part of the German National pool team. Grim participates especially in the disciplines of both Eight-ball and Nine-ball. She is currently ranked as the second highest ranked female German pool player.

Ina Kaplan is a German professional pool player. She is an eleven-time German national champion and is the second female player to win three of four disciplines in one event at the championships.

Sylvia Buschhüter

Sylvia Buschhüter is a former professional pool player from Germany. She is a three-time European Pool Championships winner, and six-time German national champion.

Veronika Ivanovskaia is a German pool player. She began to play in 2003, and later became part of the German national team. She was the winner of the 2018 European Pool Championships eight-ball event, and the runner-up at the 2017 Austria Open.

Diana Stateczny is a German snooker and pool player. She won the women's 2019 EBSA European Snooker Championship.
