Fred Scerni (born February 18,1948) is an American politician who served in the New Jersey General Assembly from the 2nd Legislative District from 1990 to 1992. [1] [2]

The Lt. Frank J. Haggerty Award is given to the top men's college basketball player from an NCAA Division I school in the New York metropolitan area. The Haggerty Award is presented by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA). First awarded in 1936,it is the oldest and arguably most prestigious award given to a metropolitan area player. It is named after Frank J. Haggerty,a basketball and baseball star athlete from Long Island,New York who "was the first graduate of both Chaminade High School and St. John's University to die in military service during World War II …The Fathers Club of the Mineola school,to honor Haggerty,class of 1936,introduced a basketball tournament in his memory," according to the MBWA's website.

Reynolds Brothers,also known as Reynolds,is a department store chain in New Jersey. It was founded in 1899 and operated a single location for over 60 years before starting expansion into a regional New Jersey chain of family apparel and accessory stores. The store was founded by George F. Reynolds and was later run by his son and grandson. An off-price brand of women's clothing stores,the Rafters brand,was added in the late 1970s. The company had grown to 22 stores in 1996 when it was sold to a private investor group. It peaked at about 30 stores a few years later before having financial difficulties. It downsized through bankruptcy reorganization in 2004 and reemerged with just three stores.
