Frederick Enaholo (born 12 March 1971) [1] is a Swedish [2] [3] former footballer.

Early life

Frederick Enaholo was born to a Serbian mother and Nigerian father. [4] He started his football career in Vojvodina Novi Sad. [5] [6]

Playing career

In 1992, Enaholo arrived in Sweden and trialed with Malmö FF. [5] He did not succeed and instead he joined IFK Trelleborg and later Trelleborgs FF in 1995. [5] He made his Allsvenskan debut on 9 April in a 0–0 draw against Örebro SK. [4] He ended his career in IFK Malmö. [7]

The season began on 2 April 2011 and ended on 23 October 2011. Malmö FF were the defending champions, having won their 16th Swedish championship and their 19th Allsvenskan title the previous season.

Lars "Lasse" Larsson was a Swedish footballer who played as a striker. He represented IFK Trelleborg, Malmö FF, and Atalanta during a career that spanned between 1979 and 1993. A full international between 1984 and 1987, he won nine caps and scored one goal for the Sweden national team. He was the 1987 Allsvenskan top scorer.

Malmö FF competed in Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen for the 2001 season. The club was back in Allsvenskan after one season in Superettan. Zlatan Ibrahimović was sold to AFC Ajax in the summer of 2001 after heavy discussions which raised the price tag to approximately €9 million, the largest transfer sum ever recorded in Swedish football history.

In the 2011 season, Djurgårdens IF competes in the Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen. Lennart Wass and Carlos Banda were contracted as coaches.

AIK continued treading water in a disappointing season. The failure to qualify for European competitions ensured popular coach Rikard Norling got the sack, much to the dismay of the AIK supporters.

The 2012 season was Malmö FF's 101st in existence, their 77th season in Allsvenskan and their 12th consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan where they finished in 3rd position. Malmö FF also participated in one competition in which the club continued playing in for the 2013 season, 2012–13 Svenska Cupen. The season was Rikard Norlings first full season as the club's manager as he joined the club halfway through the 2011 season. Ulrich Vinzents was appointed new club captain as the former captain, Daniel Andersson, announced that he would prioritise his coaching career as one of Malmö FF's three assistant managers. However, injury problems for the club's defender saw Andersson playing ten out of twelve league matches before the break for UEFA Euro 2012 and thus also holding the captaincy, Andersson continued to play sporadically after the summer break. Appointed captain Vinzents was injured in an early stage of the season and Miiko Albornoz was brought into the starting eleven, Albornoz held the position until the end of the season. Due to these circumstances third captain Jiloan Hamad held the captaincy for the majority of the matches throughout the season.

A Scanian derby is the name given to any fixture between football clubs in Scania, the southernmost county and traditional province of Sweden. The most high-profile fixture in the region is the rivalry between Helsingborgs IF and Malmö FF. Historically, the rivalry between the two clubs and Landskrona BoIS is also well known. Additional Scanian football clubs that are playing in the upper three tiers of Swedish football are BK Olympic, IFK Malmö, Trelleborgs FF, Lunds BK, Torns IF and Ängelholms FF. Two cities have more than one club in the top three tiers: Malmö with MFF, BK Olympic and IFK Malmö, and Lund with Lunds BK and Torns IF.

The 2021–22 Svenska Cupen is the 66th season of the Svenska Cupen and the tenth season with the current format. The winners of the competition will secure a spot in the second qualifying round of the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League, unless they had already qualified for European competition in the 2021–22 season, in which case the qualification spot will go to fourth-placed team of the 2021 Allsvenskan. A total of 96 clubs will enter the competition, 64 teams from district sites and 32 from the Allsvenskan and the Superettan.
