Frederick Zammit

Frederick Zammit is a television scriptwriter, presenter and executive from Malta. He has acted as Head of Programmes for Net TV [1] and is the writer of Malta's most popular[ citation needed ] TV series Santa Monika , which was screened between October 2005 and March 2006. The second series has been aired from October 2006, with a third scheduled for October 2007. A cinema version of the show was produced in 2009. [2] He also wrote the drama series F’Salib it-Toroq . [3]

Zammit has served as a member of the Public Broadcasting Services selection panel for the Maltese Eurovision Song Contest entry [4] and as host of the accompanying Lejn il-Eurovision show. [5]

Holby City is a British medical drama television series that airs weekly on BBC One. He has also co-written "Shine" which represented Russia in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, besides writing for several national finals in other countries which include France, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Iceland, Bulgaria and Romania.

Total Drama Island is the first season of Total Drama, a Canadian animated comedy television series created by Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch. The series premiered in Canada on Teletoon on July 8, 2007 and ran for 26 episodes, each 22 minutes in duration with a special 44 minute season finale. The series is a parody of the reality series Survivor, pitting 22 campers in an elimination-based competition.

Malta participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. The Maltese broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) held a national final, GO Malta EuroSong 2009, to select the Maltese entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, set to be held in Moscow, Russia. Chiara won the place to represent Malta in the early hours of 8 February 2009, and represented Malta for the third time with the song "What If We".

Malta selected its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 on February 2010 in The GO Malta EuroSong 2010 competition, organised by the Public Broadcasting Services (PBS), the Maltese broadcaster. At the final of the contest held on 20 February Thea Garrett was chosen by jury and televoting to represent Malta with the song "My Dream", written by Jason Paul Cassar and Sunny Aquilina.

Jonas Gladnikoff Swedish songwriter and music producer (born 1985)

Jonas Gladnikoff is a Swedish songwriter and music producer. Born in Täby, he began songwriting at an early age. Later in life he moved to the Åland Islands in Finland before eventually moving to Stockholm. He has written several songs for singers from across Europe, but is best known for writing entries for the Eurovision Song Contest and for various national pre-selections. He studied songwriting at the Music Production Academy Musikmakarna, graduating in 2006. In 2009 he co-wrote the song that represented Ireland. The song "Et Cetera" was performed by Sinéad Mulvey & Black Daisy in Moscow, Russia. In the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest he once again co-wrote the Irish entry. The song, "It's for You", was performed by the 1993 Eurovision winning singer Niamh Kavanagh. He also later wrote the 2014 Irish entry "Heartbeat" sung by Can-linn.

Malta participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "This Is the Night" written by Johan Jämtberg, Kurt Calleja and Mikael Gunnerås. The song was performed by Kurt Calleja. The Maltese entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan was selected through the national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2012, organised by the Maltese broadcaster Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). The competition consisted of a semi-final round and a final, held on 3 and 4 February 2013, respectively, where "This Is the Night" performed by Kurt Calleja eventually emerged as the winning entry after scoring the most points from a six-member jury and a public televote.

The competition consisted of a semi-final round and a final, held on 7 and 8 February 2014, respectively, where "Coming Home" performed by Firelight eventually emerged as the winning entry after scoring the most points from a five-member jury and a public televote.
