The women's moguls competition in freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 3 February (qualification) and 6 February (final), at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. [1] Jakara Anthony of Australia won the event, with Jaelin Kauf of the United States taking silver and Anastasia Smirnova, representing the Russian Olympic Committee, bronze. For all of them this is the first Olympic medal. Anthony's medal is the first Olympic medal for Australia in women's moguls.
The defending champion was Perrine Laffont. The silver medalist, who is also the 2014 Olympic champion, Justine Dufour-Lapointe, also qualified for the Olympics, as well as the bronze medalist, Yuliya Galysheva. At the 2021–22 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, before the Olympics Anri Kawamura led the ranking, followed by Laffont and Jakara Anthony. Laffont is also the 2021 world champion, with Galysheva and Anastasia Smirnova being the silver and the bronze medalist, respectively.
In the final, Anthony won with the season's best of 83.09 points. Kauf showed the fastest run, but lost to Anthony in air and turns. Smirnova became third, ahead of Laffont, Kawamura, and Olivia Giaccio.
A total of 30 moguls athletes qualified to compete at the games. For an athlete to compete they must have a minimum of 80.00 FIS points on the FIS Points List on January 17, 2022 and a top 30 finish in a World Cup event or at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships 2021. A country could enter a maximum of four athletes into the event. [2]
In the first qualifying round, the ten best athletes directly qualified for the final. The bottom twenty athletes go on to compete in the second qualification round. [3]

Yulia Evgenievna Galysheva is a Kazakhstani mogul skier who won three medals at FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships, bronze medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Games and two gold medals at the Asian Winter Games in 2011.

The men's halfpipe competition of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held from 13 to 14 February 2018 at the Bogwang Phoenix Park in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The event was won by Shaun White, who previously won this event in 2006 and 2010. Ayumu Hirano, the 2014 silver medalist, took silver. Scott James became the bronze medalist. For James, this is the first Olympic medal, and this was also the second medal for Australia at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Galysheva also won the first ever medal in Kazakhstan in freestyle skiing.
Jakara Anthony is an Australian freestyle skier and Olympic gold medalist. She competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics, finishing 4th, the best-ever result for an Australian female mogul skier. Anthony won the Women's Moguls event at the 2022 Winter Olympics. At the 2019 World Ski Championships she finished 2nd.
Anastasia Andreyevna Smirnova is a Russian freestyle skier. She is a 2021 World Champion in dual moguls.
The men's parallel giant slalom competition in snowboarding at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 8 February, at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. The event was won by Benjamin Karl of Austria, the 2010 silver and 2014 bronze medalist. Tim Mastnak of Slovenia won silver, his first Olympic medal. Vic Wild, the 2014 champion, representing the Russian Olympic Committee, won the bronze medal.

The men's ski cross competition in freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics will be held on 18 February, at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. Ryan Regez of Switzerland won the event, and his compatriot Alex Fiva won the silver medal, the first Olympic medals for both of them. Sergey Ridzik, representing the Russian Olympic Committee, won the bronze medal, replicating his 2018 success.
The women's slopestyle competition in freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 14 February (qualification) and 15 February (final), at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. Originally scheduled for 13 February (qualification) and 14 February (final), the events were delayed due to weather. Mathilde Gremaud of Switzerland won the event, improving on her 2018 silver medal. Eileen Gu of China won the silver medal, and Kelly Sildaru of Estonia bronze. For Sildaru, it was the first Olympic medal. This was also the first Winter Olympics medal for Estonia since 2010.

Xu Mengtao of China won the event, which became her first Olympic gold medal. Hanna Huskova of Belarus won the silver medal, and Megan Nick of the United States bronze, also her first Olympic medal.
Li Nan is a Chinese freestyle skier. She competed in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Katharina Ramsauer is an Austrian freestyle skier. She competed in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Marco Tadé is a Swiss freestyle skier. He competed in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
