Fremont Motors is a privately owned new and used automotive retailer in the United States. It was founded in April, 1938 [2] in Lander, Wyoming. The company owns and operates 14 dealerships in Wyoming and Nebraska. The current president of Fremont Motor Companies is Cathy Guschewsky, and the CEO is her daughter Arin Emmert. [3] [4] [5]

History

The original Fremont Motor Company dealership started in 1938 in Lander, Wyoming, selling Ford Model Ts, deluxe sedans, and trucks. In 1938, Arin Emmert's great grandfather started Fremont Motors in Lander, Wyoming. Her father, Chuck (Chuck) Guschewsky was appointed the president of the company in 1989. [6] As of 2013, Fremont Motors has fourteen dealerships and employs between 400 and 425 full-time "associates"[ clarification needed ]. [7] [8] [9] [10]

The First Hawaiian MotorCon is an annual auto show held every year between the middle week of March and the first week of April in Honolulu, Hawaii. The event takes place at the Hawaii Convention Center, whose location site was once the location of a Chevrolet dealership, Aloha Motors. The event, affiliated with the Motor Trend regional auto show circuit since 2000, is produced by the Hawaii Automotive Dealers Association (HADA) and sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank, with the Honolulu Star-Advertiser serving as the media sponsor. The recent event, going into its 42nd year, was planned for March 27-29, 2020. Hawaii Governor David Ige announced at his press conference March 17, that he is closing the Hawaii Convention Center for 30 days to limit social contact in light of recent community spread of Covid-19 virus infections. The auto show was cancelled for 2020, but returned for February 2022.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jeep Wagoneer (WS)</span> Motor vehicle

The Jeep Wagoneer and the Jeep Grand Wagoneer are full-size SUVs produced by the Jeep division of Stellantis North America. Both vehicles were released in March 2021 and were initially branded as "Wagoneer by Jeep" without the Jeep badge on vehicles. The models are described as the "premium extension" of the Jeep brand in marketing copy. Production of the 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer commenced in the first half of 2021 at Warren Truck Assembly.
