The Frente Tricolor is the official supporters group of Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

History

In the late 1995, the Grand Bleu was organised as the supporter club of the Bluewings. Originally, the name of the supporters club was CyberWings, but it changed its name to the current name a few years later. With their two general mottos, "The First & The Best" and "우리가 가면 길이 된다" (English: "Our path becomes the true path)", the Grand Bleu has now grown as the largest supporters' groups in the K-League. In May 2012, the Grand Blue and Highland Este merged and re-launched the name 'Frente Tricolor', and the name 'Grand Bleu' is dedicated to Suwon citizens, and everyone who supports the Suwon Blue Wings is called 'Grand Bleu'. [1]

The Red Devils, Korea Republic national football team supporters club also started with many of its members from the Grand Bleu. Original of the famous football chant "대~한 민국!(Dae~han Minguk!) is Grand Blue's chant "수~원 삼성!(Su~won Samsung!). [2]

Kwon Chang-hoon South Korean footballer

Kwon Chang-hoon is a South Korean professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Suwon Samsung Bluewings and the South Korea national team. A full international since 2015, he is a winner of the 2015 East Asian Cup. He has also won the 2016 Korean FA Cup with Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

2016 K League Classic

The 2016 K League Classic was the 34th season of the top division of professional football in South Korea since its establishment in 1983 as K League and the fourth season in its current name, the K League Classic.

The 2016 Seongnam FC season is the club's twenty-eighth consecutive season in K League Classic since its establishment in 1989 as Ilhwa Chunma Football Club and the third season in its current name, Seongnam FC. The team will also competing in the 2016 Korean FA Cup.

2017 K League Classic

The 2017 K League Classic was the 35th season of the top division of professional football in South Korea since its establishment in 1983 as K League and the fifth season in its current name, the K League Classic.

The 2019 K League 1 was the 37th season of the top division of professional football in South Korea since its establishment in 1983 as K League, and the second season under its current name, the K League 1.

The 2019 Korean FA Cup, known as KEB Hana Bank FA Cup due to sponsorship reasons, was the 24th edition of the Korean FA Cup. In this year, video assistant referees (VAR) system is used Semi Final and Final match. Daegu FC were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Gyeongnam FC. As the winner, Suwon Samsung Bluewings qualified for the 2020 AFC Champions League Group stage.
