Rob Wilson (born 1973) better known by his stage name Fresh I.E. is a Christian rap artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. His albums Red Letterz and Truth is Fallin' in tha Streetz were both nominated for Grammy Awards. Wilson is the first Canadian Christian artist to have been nominated for a Grammy Award. He has won several GMA Canada Covenant Awards including Rap/Hip Hop Song of the Year for World Vision (2006). Wilson founded the recording label Kingdom Music Inc. in 2006.

Fresh I.E. is an ordained minister and used to run the Joshua House drop-in centre and Education Direction Inspiration for Youth (EDIFY) mentorship program at the Waves of Glory Church in Winnipeg, which is now based out of Soul Sanctuary Church in Winnipeg. [1] Wilson and his ex wife, Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Grand Chief Sheila North Wilson [2] have two children, Trisha and Sonny.

Tha Carter II is the fifth studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne. It was released on December 6, 2005, by Cash Money Records and Universal Distribution. Recording sessions took place from 2004 to 2005, with Birdman and his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams serving as the record's executive producers. Additional producers on the album included The Runners and The Heatmakerz, among others. The album serves as a sequel to his fourth album Tha Carter (2004), and is classified as a southern hip hop record. It was supported by three singles. Trae tha Truth American rapper

Frazier Othel Thompson III, better known by his stage name Trae tha Truth or simply Trae, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. He began his career in 1998, making his first appearance on Z-Ro's debut album, Look What You Did to Me. Establishing himself as a prominent member of the Texas hip hop scene, Trae's solo debut, Losing Composure, was released in September 2003. Same Thing Different Day came in 2004, followed by Restless in 2006, his debut on Rap-a-Lot Records. In total, Trae has released 11 solo studio albums, as well as 26 mixtapes and two albums as a part of ABN. Trae is also known for his I'm On series of singles, which have featured a number of prominent artists since the first installment in 2011. He is currently signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records.

Jon Buller is a Contemporary Christian artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He now resides in Vernon, British Columbia, where he works as Pastor of Worship and the Arts at Vernon Alliance Church, a position he began in August 2005. Buller founded Hear the Music Ministries (HTM) in 1999; HTM is "committed to discipling and developing emerging Christian musicians, expressing worship through music."

Christopher Scott Greenwood, known by his stage name Manafest, is a Canadian Christian rapper and rock artist from Pickering, Ontario, Canada. He has won multiple awards for the GMA Canada Covenant Awards, GMA Dove Awards, and has been nominated for multiple Juno Awards. Signed for a decade with BEC Recordings, Manafest became independent in 2015.

Rene Francisco Sotomayor, better known by the stage name T-Bone, is a conscious/inspirational Christian rapper. His father is Nicaraguan and his mother is Salvadoran. His name came from being called 'Bones' as a youngster because he was very skinny. The 'T' was "added to give the name a little slang edge."

The Covenant Awards are awarded annually by GMA Canada. The association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the growth and ministry of Christian music arts in Canada. To this end, GMA Canada presents the annual Covenant Awards, Canada's national awards for the Canadian Gospel Music industry. The ceremonies are held annually in cities across Canada.

Newworldson is a Canadian Christian pop/soul band. Their musical style is very eclectic, but is principally soul music. The band is signed to Inpop Records and has toured extensively with the Newsboys. The band has toured in North America, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand.

Winnipeg's Most was a Canadian hip hop group, made up of the MC's Jon-C, Charlie Fettah, and Brooklyn. They were based in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jon-C and Brooklyn are both Aboriginal artists, and the group was featured in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation documentary series 8th Fire. The group released two albums and a number of singles and videos, some of which where played on MuchMusic. The group won several Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards in 2010, including the award for Best New Artist, and they won six APCMA's in 2011.

Streetz-n-Young Deuces also known as SNYD is an American hip-hop group consisting of Mark and Rudy Strong. They are best known for the songs "Mad Flavor" and "So Fresh" from the AND1 DVD series. They are members and leaders of the hip-hop collective EMP Gang.

DFS Records Record label based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA

DFS Records is a record label founded in 2003 by record producer Dan "DFS" Johnson. The independent label was the former home to award-winning Canadian recording artist Promise. In 2003 the label released its first single "Tonite" featuring Aion Clarke from Promise's debut album The Promise That Heaven Kept, it went on to reach #4 on the Rhythmic Top 10 - Canadian Christian Radio Chart.

Ritchie Acheampong, better known as Rich Kidd, is a Canadian hip hop recording artist, record producer and film/video director from Toronto, Ontario. He is a two-time nominee for the Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year as a solo artist, garnering nominations at the Juno Awards of 2013 for The Closers and at the Juno Awards of 2014 for In My Opinion. In 2013, he formed the project Naturally Born Strangers with collaborators Tona and Adam Bomb. That group's debut release, The Legends League Presents: Naturally Born Strangers, won the Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2015.

Trentavious Zamon White Sr., better known by his stage name Bankroll Fresh or Yung Fresh, was an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Fresh is best known for his 2015 single "Walked In". He starred in the independent short film Take Over Your Trap in 2016.
