Friendly is a neighborhood in south central Eugene, Oregon, United States. It is represented by the neighborhood association Friendly Area Neighbors. [1]

The neighborhood is named for Friendly Street, which in turn takes its name from Sam Friendly, a 19th-century mayor of the city. [2] The area is home to more than 7,000 residents, [3] and includes Civic Stadium, Westmoreland Park, Madison Meadow, and the western half of Amazon Park. The neighborhood directly adjoins Eugene's downtown area.

Downtown Denver and the Central Platte Valley are quickly accessed from Jefferson Park, using the 23rd Avenue overpass on I-25 and Water Street. In addition, the Light Rail C-Line is located by Empower Field at Mile High in the southern part of the neighborhood.

Allied Gardens is a residential neighborhood in the eastern Navajo community of San Diego, California. It neighbors San Carlos to the east, Del Cerro to the south, the College Area to the southeast and Grantville to the southwest.

Phillips, Minneapolis community of Minneapolis

Phillips is a community in Minneapolis, just south of downtown. Phillips is a diverse area in many ways: its population includes people of many nationalities; it has a mix of residential, commercial and industrial uses; and it is home to several large employers such as Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Wells Fargo Mortgage and Allina Health Care Services along with small neighborhood businesses. Traditionally, it was both a community and a neighborhood. On May 9, 2002, Phillips neighborhood was subdivided into four smaller neighborhoods. Though not an officially designated neighborhood, Phillips also includes the Little Earth residential area. The West University Neighborhood (WUN) is a neighborhood in Eugene, Oregon, United States immediately west of the University of Oregon. The neighborhood encompasses the area west from Kincaid Street to Willamette Street, and north from East 19th Avenue to Franklin Boulevard. 97% of the residences in the neighborhood are renter-occupied.
