Fright-Rags is an American company known for releasing apparel based on horror films and other horror-related media. The company was founded in 2003 by Ben Scrivens, and is based in Rochester, New York.

History

Graphic designer and horror fan Ben Scrivens founded Fright-Rags in 2003. [1] He began designing T-shirts based on horror media, and when he shared some of his designs on an online forum, he quickly received positive feedback. [1] Scrivens devised a name, basic logo, and website for Fright-Rags during Labor Day weekend that year, and after spending $600 to create his first run of shirts, he received his first order from a customer on September 2, 2003. Filming began on May 26, 2014 in Gonzales, Texas, starring Carter Roy, Alena von Stroheim, Chris O'Brien, Tom Saporito, Scott Allen Perry, Jessica Perrin, and Scott Weinberg, and wrapped mid-June 2014.

Art the Clown

Art the Clown is a fictional character from the Terrifier franchise and related media. Created by Damien Leone, he first appears in low budget short films before making his feature film debut in the anthology film All Hallows' Eve (2013). In these early appearances, retired actor Mike Giannelli portrays him. In the standalone Terrifier franchise, David Howard Thornton portrays the character—starring in Terrifier (2016) and Terrifier 2 (2022). Thornton's portrayal of the character was well-received, although slight criticism exists towards certain aspects of Art's characterization. Besides film, the character has been adapted into other media and is a part of merchandise.

Terrifier 2 is an upcoming American slasher film written, directed, and produced by Damien Leone. It is a sequel to Terrifier (2016), and is the second film in the franchise. It features the return of David Howard Thornton and Samantha Scaffidi, who respectively portrayed Art the Clown and Victoria Heyes in the first film, and stars Lauren LaVera, Elliot Fullam, Sarah Voigt, Kailey Hyman, and Casey Harnett. The story follows Art's resurrection and pursuit of Sienna Shaw (LaVera) and her younger brother Jonathan (Fullam) on Halloween night—a year after mutilating sole survivor Victoria (Scaffidi) and committing suicide upon police confrontation.
