The Frog Lake T-Birds are a Canadian junior B ice hockey team, based in Frog Lake, Alberta, Canada. They play in the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League, out of the New Horizons Arena. They are coached by Kelly Zacharias[ when? ][ citation needed ]
The Frog Lake T-Birds were founded in 2014, entering the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League. They finished 7th overall in their debut season. [1] The T-Birds had to forfeit the quarterfinal playoffs due to challenges in fielding enough players. They were unable to return the following season.

The Western Hockey League (WHL) is a major junior ice hockey league based in Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. The WHL is one of three leagues that constitutes the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) as the highest level of junior hockey in Canada. Teams play for the Ed Chynoweth Cup, with the winner moving on to play for the Memorial Cup, Canada's national junior championship. WHL teams have won the Memorial Cup 19 times since the league became eligible to compete for the trophy. Many players have been drafted from WHL teams, and have found success at various levels of professional hockey, including the National Hockey League (NHL).

Hockey Alberta is the governing body of all ice hockey in Alberta, Canada and is affiliated with Hockey Canada. It was founded in 1907 as the Alberta Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA) to be the governing body for Alberta intra-city ice hockey play. The Mountainview Colts are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Didsbury, Alberta, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League (HJHL). They play their home games at Didsbury Memorial Complex. The Colts celebrated their 25th anniversary season during the 2014-15 season. The team won the Heritage Junior B Hockey League Championship after the 2015–16 season.
Terry Ewasiuk is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 7th round of the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft, and was also drafted by the Chicago Cougars in the 4th round of the 1973 WHA Amateur Draft. Ewasiuk is currently the head coach for the Saddle Lake Warriors of the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League.
The Onion Lake Border Chiefs are a Canadian junior B ice hockey team located in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan. They joined the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League in 2014 and play out of the Onion Lake Memorial Communiplex. Their head coach is Mike Clague.
The North Edmonton Red Wings are a Canadian Junior B ice hockey team located in Edmonton, Alberta. They play in the Capital Junior Hockey League, out of the Derry. Their head coach is Wally Corse. The Red Wings were the 2015 Alberta provincial Junior B champions, and lost to the Campbell River Storm of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League in the final of the 2015 Keystone Cup.
