From The Devil's Porch is a 2015 EP released by The Standstills on eOne Music Canada. The lead single off the EP "Orleans" has been rotated heavily on Canadian rock radio and most recently the band released their second single for radio "Rise of the Fall" in early 2016. The band has a music video for "Orleans" which was released on November 27, 2015 and the lead single is also featured in a commercial for Fido.

The Standstills are a Canadian rock duo from Oshawa, Ontario. They formed together in 2010 in London Ontario and are most noted for their release From The Devil's Porch on eOne Music. The band have been described as The White Stripes body slammed by Queens Of The Stone Age. Musically categorized in Alternative Rock, Stoner Rock and Hard Rock coupled with Wild West themes.

Fido Solutions Canadian telecommunication company

Fido Solutions Inc. is a Canadian cellular telephone service provider owned by Rogers Communications. Although Fido's parent company, Rogers Communications, also operates another cellular service Rogers Wireless, Fido remains a separate entity and retains its own retail chain, customer service call centres, network servers and CEO. Fido pioneered the concept of providing unlimited service in select Canadian cities. Fido was the first carrier in Canada to launch a GSM-based network and the first wireless service provider in North America to offer General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) on its network.

The album was recorded at Heritage Recording Studio in Streetsville, Ontario with producer James Robertson and mixed by JUNO Award winner Eric Ratz. Here's what the band had to say about recording the new EP: "James is like the crazy musical genius who oversaw everything and Ratz has always been such an amazing, efficient mixer. So it was like having the best of both worlds coming together. We put our faith in Eric and James and it paid off." [1]

Ratz has worked with Canada's most successful and influential rock bands including Arkells, Big Wreck, Billy Talent, Cancer Bats, Danko Jones, and Monster Truck. He has been nominated for 11 JUNO awards in both the Producer and Recording Engineer categories. He has won Producer of the Year and two Recording Engineer of the Year JUNO Awards, and a GRAMMY.

Third Eye Blind American alternative rock band

Third Eye Blind is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1993. The songwriting duo of Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the band's first major-label recording contract with Elektra Records in 1996, which was later reported as the largest publishing deal ever for an unsigned artist. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1997, with the band largely consisting of Jenkins, Cadogan, Arion Salazar, and Brad Hargreaves (drums). Hinder American rock band

Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma that was formed in 2001 by lead singer Austin Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, and drummer Cody Hanson. Fall Out Boy American pop punk band

Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, lead guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. The band originated from Chicago's hardcore punk scene, with which all members were involved at one point. The Kindred is a Canadian progressive rock sextet formed in Ottawa, Ontario. Originally formed in the winter of 2006, the band released their debut EP Ms. Mary Mallon on July 4, 2008 and their debut full-length Lore on June 14, 2011, both independently. Following their name change and signing to Sumerian Records the band released Life in Lucidity in 2014. After three years and various member changes, the band released a new EP Weight, advertised as part one of their upcoming full-length to be released later in the year.

PJ Morton American musician

PJ Morton is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. Since 2012, he has been one of the keyboardists, alongside Jesse Carmichael, for the pop rock band Maroon 5. Morton originally joined the band as a touring member in 2010 and became an official member in 2012 after Carmichael went on indefinite hiatus.

10 Years (band) American alternative metal band

10 Years is an American alternative metal band, formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, in 1999. Mandroid Echostar is a six-piece heavy metal band from Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The band's sound has been described as a combination of melodic technical guitars, progressive metal, and heavy metal. The band won the Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2017 for their album Coral Throne.
