From the Devil's Chalise is a 2008 EP by black metal band Behexen. It was released as a three 7" vinyl box-set, including a Behexen logo patch and stickers.

Contents

The material was recorded in 2004, but the release was delayed for several reasons for four years.

Roots Bloody Roots 1996 single by Sepultura

"Roots Bloody Roots" is a song by Brazilian metal band Sepultura. It was released in February 1996 as the lead single from their sixth album Roots. The song is the band's best known and remains a concert staple to this day, usually being performed on encores. A music video was filmed for the single which features the band performing in a catacomb as well as on the streets with a tribe of percussionists. This video can be found on the VHS We Are What We Are, which was later released on DVD as part of Chaos DVD.

Dan Beehler

Dan Beehler is a Canadian singer and musician. He is the original drummer and lead vocalist of Canadian heavy metal band Exciter from its inception in 1978 to 1993. Although he did not perform vocals on the Exciter O.T.T. album, he continued to play drums until the band split after the release of Better Live Than Dead in 1993.

Andreas Blomqvist

Andreas Blomqvist is a heavy metal bassist from Stockholm, Sweden, best known for his role as the bassist and founding member of progressive metal band Seventh Wonder. Andreas formed Seventh Wonder alongside guitarist Johan Liefvendahl and drummer Johnny Sandin after their previous band fell apart. The music turned towards the side of progressive metal, and as the band was joined by keyboard player Andreas "Kyrt" Söderin late 2000, the new sound was cemented further. Two demos were recorded over the next few years and both received good press.

Fen is a British post-black metal band formed in 2006 from the Fens of East Anglia signed to the label Code666. Their Myspace page reports that they "draw the listener into a windswept and desolate landscape, bereft of hope". In 2006 they recorded the Ancient Sorrow EP and January 2009 saw the release of the first full-length album The Malediction Fields under the CODE666 record label. Nightside Emanations is the fourth studio album by Behexen. The album was released through Debemur Morti Productions on 21 September 2012. Nightside Emanations features changes in the band's musical sound, this time incorporating more traditional death metal mixed with their traditional black metal sound. In addition, the vocals have drastically changed, the high pitched shrieks heard on the early albums are completely replaced by lower deathlike growls. The track "We Burn With Serpent Fire" contains a guest guitar solo by former Behexen guitarist Gargantum.
